I think the ICE 3er does have kidney grille. But depends on what options you take? Some will probably end up being like the 5/i5/M5.Lower bumper can be seen. I don't know how I feel about the kidneys being 100% not functional on even the ICE cars.

I don’t think the kidneys will have any openings, otherwise the spy cars would have openings also. Hope you are right thoughI think the ICE 3er does have kidney grille. But depends on what options you take? Some will probably end up being like the 5/i5/M5.

The M350 like other M Performance Automobiles will probably have the horizontal bars?
They still have to sell a 320/d etc. These cars in their basic form will probably have an active kidney grille. I can understand i3 not needing the airflow. Other 3er models will.I don’t think the kidneys will have any openings, otherwise the spy cars would have openings also. Hope you are right though
That front looks very realistic and very pretty.
Is that just a sign of crossovers displacing the once dominant position of mid-sized sedans?
The family man would chose the iX3 whereas the selfish man would choose the 3er/i3.M'eh, personal bias but to me a saloon car is a grown up adults car: 4 doors, 3 boxes, that'll always be my preference... so I'm not really commenting on i3 versus iX3, but the i3 itself (or at least what we're seeing in renderings) is a very simple design - sure, the NK front has novelty value and looks relatively good, but the rest of the car is fairly vanilla so I agree in that respect, I'm just not seeing the iX3 much differently.

One of the most misconceptions I've ever readThe family man would chose the iX3 whereas the selfish man would choose the 3er/i3.
