I think what Uygar is referring to is the iX3 vertical kidneys. And I agree with him that the front end of the G50/NA0 would look better with them.

I understand, both versions are excellent in my book and I like having two of that level to maintain variation from model to model

It’s clear that the renders are sought from someone who has been in the closed rooms. They have even incorporated the radar sensors which looks like an additional tall kidney grille within the wide kidney grille. And the trunk clench. The rear door outline is a bit more resolved apparently.
They are right that it imitates the E36 in proportion.
