3 Series (G50) [Spy shots] 2027 BMW 3 Series (G50)

The eighth generation of the BMW 3 Series range consists of the BMW G50 (sedan version, ICE), BMW G51 (wagon version, marketed as 'Touring'), and BMW G58 (long-wheelbase saloon) compact executive cars. It is to be unveiled and launched in 2026, with the next-generation M3 set to launch the year after. It will feature a new, minimalist design inspired by BMW's Vision Neue Klasse concept, and will be offered with both internal combustion and purely electric powertrains, though on different platforms. It replaces the G20 3 Series. Production: 2026 (to commence). Model years: 2027.
Progressing nicely.

While I continue to look very forward to the official presentation of the XA0 i3 sedan, I must say that BMW designers have absolutely nailed the body proportions of the G50.

When this thing is officially presented, I’m gonna Bembli the f#ck out of those front shutlines just for klier.

Bro, YOUR opinion I would very much appreciate.

While I continue to look very forward to the official presentation of the XA0 i3 sedan, I must say that BMW designers have absolutely nailed the body proportions of the G50.

G50 looks just sensational so far. I'd be so lost choosing between this and the i3.

Progressing? How so? German brands have lost the tradition of dropping camo as development goes. This is the same mule we have seen for months now.

Look at the way the light and shadow reveal the surfaces. Tight, flat and smooth no dramatic shapes. People will tear their hair out trying to decide on this or the i3. Especially business drivers.

@bmwblog can you tell us the month this will be debuting? What has people said in the previews? Parts of the design, like the rear lights or the lack of kidneys, appear to be polarizing…
