For that to happen, Mercedes would have to sell almost 400,000 more cars in just two years (the difference as of today), and BMW wouldn't increase sales by a single car in the same two years, so no, that's not likely.

How do you know that in February? What's your analysis that led you to that conclusion? I think it will be the opposite, and my basis for this is the number of new models they'll present, which will add to the stable sales of recent years.
