2 Series [Spy Shots] 2015 BMW 2 Series Spy Pics & Info

The BMW 2 Series is a range of subcompact executive cars (C-segment) manufactured by BMW since the year 2014. The 2 Series was created when BMW spun-off the 2-door models (coupé and convertible) of the BMW 1 Series into a separate series.
I guess I should clarify further. I am not talking in terms of sales or profit. I am saying from a car enthusiast standpoint (which I am assuming we all are) this car is the most important F code car because it has the potential to bring back that BMw feeling that has been lost or muted in all of the new cars. What is so crazy or wrong about that?

I can only add one thing... the M135i is the best driver's car BMW are currently making... E92/3 M3 excluded.
The M235i might even get a little bit better but there's no need to. My advise to enthusiasts is to buy this car if they want pure BMW experience... not an M5, not an M6. If you need space get a 550i + M135i for the sake of fun as it's WAY more fun than an M5/M6 IMO :)

I think you need to make your initial post clearer in future instead of changing your story every time someone challenges what you wrote.

Very nice indeed.

I mean, it's not hard to make a better looking car then the 1er, but the 2er is really nice!

For me it places itself in between the A3 Sedan and the ugly CLA. I like it!

At least there'll be two BMW's worth the BMW badge. 4 Series and 2 Series.

Looks great. Pity the interior isn't as good as the exterior.

Looks very nice! i think it looks quite E46-ish, i actually like this more than the F30, which i think is exactly what BMW don't want to know...
quite intentional i think is they refrain from having the 2er having the same headlight joint to the grille design, to keep everything 3er and above have something that this doesn't have... but hey this still looks great.

It looks really great. This is the M235i, it also has the M badge. Now I'm really wondering what the M2 will be like especially its engine.

Too bad it has no LED again like the A3/S3.

It looks fat and needs bigger wheels :)
Some good details here and there but overall... not my cup of tea.
I'd take the sleek 4-Series over this but considering how great the M135i is... I'll have to think more than twice before making a decision. Some bigger wheels and I'll be ok with the whole car... just price it right and it'll surpass the S3 in my book... not there yet! :)

The 19" M Performance accessories wheels will no doubt fit the M235i as they do the M135i, but they'll set you back a few €€€€€€€€€. Plus they don't have much rubber, wonder how much they affect the ride?

Scott has previously said that the 2er will have a sportier ride/setup than the F20/1 too so I'm expecting great things.

If I go for the S-Class the M235i should be my sports car as it's cheap. It should look good so either the rims or the color should go. Maybe in black it won't look that fat and the rims will be ok... we'll see :)

PS: Anyone knows when we can expect the Cabrio ?

When you find the m235i to be a cheap car you're a high roller!! :D

Sunny, that is a great connection you made there!!

That is just so precious!
Oh i like that:)

What is this car though? A replacement for the 1er coupe?

Or do they think there is a space between the 3er and 1er coupe?

Edit:
Guess there is, as there won't be any 3er coupe.. its a 4er now right?

PS
Im clueless when it comes to BMW:D

It's the replacement of the 1er Coupe/Vert the same way the 4er is the replacement of the 3er Coupe/Vert :)

How whas it possible to let that abomination go to production?

If the hatch gets updated headlights like this, would be damn nice!

Won't happen, but owners having alot of money to spend get the 2 Series fenders, bumper, headlights and foot and fit it on the 1 Series.

I'd have this 2er over a new S500 :D No joke, btw!
I'm more into small little nimble sporty cars (but the S class is a dream indeed, no doubt about that)

I do have to get used to these new headlights. There's something in it no other BMW has had yet....but it looks pretty damn spectacular! Love what I'm seeing here, yeah!!!

Lights are spot-on form me. I would have preferred bolder, more aggressive Kidneys.
