2 Series [Spy Shots] 2015 BMW 2 Series Spy Pics & Info

The BMW 2 Series is a range of subcompact executive cars (C-segment) manufactured by BMW since the year 2014. The 2 Series was created when BMW spun-off the 2-door models (coupé and convertible) of the BMW 1 Series into a separate series.
The M-Pack really helps the front. The car doesn't look good in brighter colors as they really show its flaws.
The black kidneys are way better! The rear on the other hand looks even worse with the M-Pack... I can't believe it!
The car has to wear at least 19" rims to look even remotely good. Darker colors are a must too!

Thank god it's not beige like a Toyota Corolla marketed for the US. The interior is a massive improvement and look more of a match for the premium exterior, unlike the outgoing model which has a rather spartan looking center console. However, what we're seeing is a fully decked out model.

So far so good.

The m performance version looks very nice from the front and from the profile it looks good till about where the door ends... the rest of the car as it flows into the rear still looks kind of chubby. The rear with those lights... I'm kind of semi-liking it :)

It is funny how a car that is still somewhat shorter than an E92 looks like it has small wheels, even though those are 18", I presume. E92 with m package 18" wheels looks just about right

The front end looks PERFECT with the M Pack, very good work here. The steering wheel helps the interior very much too. And the rear looks way better than on previous pics.

Don't like the puffy rear fenders, make the rear wheels look tiny. I don't know why they couldn't just stick to old school flared fenders. Everything else looks good to me.

Yep, I agree. I remember you used to complain about the cow line on the previous 1er, but I prefer that over this.

Now I'm not trying to be funny, but is the interior any different to the hatch? I simply can't tell with BMW these days. It looks better in this picture.

I love it. A perfect evolution of the previous 1-series coupe. The rear is excellent in my eyes. At least it is with the m-sports pack.

I was actually a fan of the LCI 1er coupe. But I think this is even better.

IMHO, Msport is a must. And the trunk is just begging for either a CSL style trunk lid, or at least an M Perf spoiler.

I'm considering:
M235i
Valencia Orange (maybe Estoril Blue)/Black Leatherette
6MT
Heated seats
H/K sound system

That's about it really. The fact that the 6 cyl will still get mid 30 mpg hwy is a nice bonus too.

But it's pretty much identical to the 3 Series interior.

Perhaps i didn't adequately explain my opinion. This interior complements the compact package of the 2er much better than the 5 seater sedan 3er. An interior must be measured against the needs of the target market of the car and the product hierarchy. The 3er, in my opinion, does not meet these standards.

Reminds me of the 1991 or thereabouts 318is that I fell in love with. This going to look wicked in some darker colours. Yes the rear lights look a little soft, but that front is really spot on.

Rear is sh1te. What has happened with the bumper/diffuser. All that hard work improving the front over the F2x and they go and do that to the rear. Prefer the E82s. Lights are bearable (just).

Hopefully other colours will look better.
