I'm not feeling the convertible version as much as the coupe. This new car just isn't the same without the 3 vents and sloping roofline. I think that without the thin roofline the car looks kind of fat. Coupe is pretty much perfect though.

Coupes always look better to me.

Yea, never liked the 911 cabrio much, and the 991 will not change that. Still looks like a hunchback. Coupe looks much superior.

I couldn't disagree more, this side of the GT models nothing beats the feeling of driving a 911 convertible with the top down IMO.

To improve stability, I guess.

Could be, but I am not talking about the feeling of driving it, I know it will be glorious. I am talking about the ugly looks of the 911 cabrio. I have never liked it, and this one is not going to change it.

4'' inches longer than the previous generation car. Per embedded journalist who rode w/ test engineers in South Africa....the additional 4'' inches will accommodate a hybrid powertrain to be introduced in 2016.Thanks. PalBay

It's a matter of taste. I have never liked convertibles, unless it's a hard top. It always ruins the shape of the car for me. Plus I'm brown, I'll burn to a crisp in the heat where I live.

Amazingly crisp, hallow metallic sound. The formula hasn't changed. the car sitll sounds like a 911. The proportions look as crafted by God. My favourite aspect is the Panamera-esque nose that take inspiration for a full grown alligator.

I agree. Judging by the spy pics I think that the front bumper will have larger vents than the PS above and look much less Cayman-like.
