Damn, 2-Door Sports Cars might be calling my name again in the future, if the 911 has anything to say about it. I'm a little more iffy on the latest pics (a little bubbly/round-y and maybe lacking in the lean nature of a pure 911), but I have a feeling that in person, and when well equipped, this car should stun.

The PS by Luw is looking very good again. Damn, confusion. Sometimes it looks like a 997 with different mirrors and backlights, and sometimes it looks like a whole new car, only inspired by the 911 line....

I got my September issue of EVO in the post last night.

In Dickie Meaden's pre-launch Cape shakedown article there's a picture of the seven speed H-gate pattern on the manual gearlever. It confirms the speculation and blurry screenshots earlier herein.

I am absolutely loving this.

The fact that the 911 is individualistic and iconic, in both design and engineering, why would one want to mess with it? As a young man with not much financial means right now, I can't afford it. But when I am older, and with perservearance and some luck, I'm hoping there will still be a 911 waiting for me to get behind the wheel.

Well, this being published in a car magazine, I think they got the target right. LOL. Plus, Porsche aren't the only ones. I've seen this kind of thing on other make's cars as well when they appear in mag. And yes, that is one lucky ass kid.
