3 Series (E90) Spy photos: E92 Coupe / E93 Convertible Facelift

The BMW E90 is the fifth generation of the BMW 3 Series range. Body styles: E90 (saloon), E91 (estate/touring), E92 (coupé) and E93 (convertible). Predecessor: BMW E46. Successors: F30/F31 3 Series, and F32/F33 4 Series. Production: 2004-2013.
This car is already perfect and dont need any big changes.

To keep it competitive the car will need to be updated. I'm sure BMW has some additional goodies that will only improve the car. Maybe BMW will throw some extra LED lights on there for you for a bonus.

Those new mirrors are simply ugly:t-banghea So big like in a SUV :( It would be the first thing I'd change in this car after buying it - pre-LCI mirrors looks much more sporty and elegant.

Why is BMW persistently installing now those elephant ears mirrors in each new car (X6, PAS, 1er LCI)? Safety regulations?

I have much smaller mirrors in my E36 and have never had problems with spotting any car behind or next to me. Bigger mirrors won't help if you're driving recklessly, IMO.:t-hands:

Did nobody notice the different shaped headlights? The bottom line of the headlights is different.

This is one to look forward to. Surely the car will maintain a clean appearence without excess number of creases and lines across bumpers and the hood.

The headlights seems to have gotten the same treatment they did with the E46 FL, I never liked the FL E46 coupes and I'm not sure about this FL either...

The new hood suits the sedan but it won't look right on the E92/3 because of the more timeless and elegant design then the sedan. Walked past a FL E90 335i in space grey on my morning walk today, one of the best looking cars on the road to my eyes, absolutely loved it. I think it had the M Pack. Hope BMW make changes to the interior as it is looking very stale compared to the latest offerings by BMW - but I am reasonable and expect this in the enxt generation not from a small facelift.

Looking good so far!

Shame about the new wing mirrors....:eusa_doh:

its the new EU regulations. Lexus, Mercedes, Audi and BMW are already affected by these new regulations and nothing to do about it. Sorry.

Yeah, every new model of car needs to have big mirrors, and a more upright front too (unless active bonnet) for pedestrian-safety reason. EU said so.

And I approve, I drove with those "elephant ears" and they give you a panoramic vision, it's definitely benefitting ghe safety by reducing the dead angle and increasing the view.

Yep. I don't mind the new mirrors, because you really do see a lot more, and that is always useful.
