Spied: Ford C-Max Facelift - Fusion (er Aston Martin) Style

Ford is working on a facelift for their C-Max in order to give all models that new “Aston Martin” looking face. Well, at least a resemblance.. they are still Fords after all and they no longer own the prestigious British brand after they sold all (if not all) of their assets from their Premier Automotive Group (PAG) division they had massively acquired during the late 90s.

Here, our spy photographers caught the upcoming face-lifted Ford C-Max undergoing cold weather testing in Sweden.

The current C-Max comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine coupled with an electric motor for a total output of 188-hp. It rates at 47mpg city/highway (EPA).

Ford has published a teaser image with the 2015 C-MAX facelift set to be unveiled on Wednesday.

It was only yesterday when Ford released images with the second-gen S-MAX and now they are teasing its smaller brother, the C-MAX, which is about to receive a facelift as seen in previous spy shots. From what we can see in this teaser, the compact MPV will look slightly more upscale than the current model thanks to enlarged sweptback headlights, a trapezoidal grille with chrome margins along with bigger fog lights and a reshaped lower grille.

More images will be released on September 17 and chances are the 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine will be available alongside the new 150 PS & 180 PS 1.5-liter EcoBoost and 95 PS & 120 PS 1.5 TDCi motors which debuted in the facelifted Focus. We expect the 2.0 TDCi to be carried over with the same 140 PS (103 kW) and 163 PS (120 kW) outputs.

The same updates will also be applied onto the seven-seater Grand C-MAX and both versions will be shown in public at next month's Paris Motor Show.
