Yo, both of these cars have a great side profile.
Which side profile do you like better?

Audi RS4

Audi S8

Wow what a poll.. no dissrespect but its pretty useless..
You all audi guys are really active.. its amazing that you all can post so much about audi when there isnt to much to talk about.. im not saying that audi isnt intresting..but they dont have a huge line up or bunch of new products to talk about..

But hey dont take this the wrong way.. if you want to discuss and post.. have fun.. but its alot to read through....:D

PS
No offense.. against anyone..

They are really similiar.... to be honest, I'm going to just toss a coin.

Edit: S8 won the coin toss

I think the fact that Audi doesn't have 'many' models in it's line up is a receipe for success.

The RS4 and S8 are just fantastic cars. I'd be honored to own either one. :8_2_88:

The RS4 has a better looking side profile.

^ ^I dont think that recipe is working.

S8 because the front on the RS4 is too flat and tall from a side profile.

haha, that's pretty true!! At least we're well informed!!

It was a hard decision because the two cars look very similar but the RS4 and S8 look very similar at the side!

Im glad someone agrees with me.. and there is one thing that really buggs me alot..
Why cant you folks that start threads in the audi section do like the others.. for example the MB fans know that the S class is hugely popular so thats why we have a picture thread and everyone posts pictures there when they find some..
But you guys do it this way:
RS4 white
RS4 blue
RS4 in the rain
RS4 sexxy..
A new freakin thread for every set of pictures..
Once again no offence just a request.. get some structure for gods sake.. its to much to read...

The side Profile is not Audi's best looking angle cos their cars all have long front overhangs which means lack of dynamic sense,IMO.
BTW RS4 got my vote this time.

Mercedes and BMWs have long rear overhangs so what?

Anyway i pic S8 in this poll cause i like it more.

Well, a long front overhang can make a car look ungainly and clumsy, whereas a long rear overhang can make a car look longer and more elegant.

Anyhow, I vote for the S8, though once again I prefer a normal A8. The way the roofline flows towards the rear is very impressive, very elegant. I also like the way the bonnet and the bootlid areas are longer in profile. The A4/RS4 is a bit short to be so elegant and still have 4 doors and 5 seats.

Funny cause everytime i see a C class it looks slightly unbalanced to me. (No offence my dear Artist):D

Like mentioned before in another forum Audi has a huge problem in making different looking cars in their line up. There are so a like it is not even funny.

The RS4 hands down in my opnion is better looking in the side profile, but then again I am not sure how the S8 will look if it were in red.

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
