Should BMW buy Aston Martin?

What are people's thoughts on this?

For me, i think its a good idea. AM products would perfectly complement the BMW Group portfolio. AM would be positioned between BMW and RR, and AM could share parts/engineering with BMW. May i add that Dr Ulrich Bez, AM CEO, is a great fan of the BMW M V10. Imagine that on the next Rapide and Vanquish!

I would think that AM fits perfectly into BMW's portfolio too. It's a pity they're shelving the idea.
