^Like the all black interior, reminds me of my build from many years ago :).
Spent shit load of time sleeving all those cables and I dont even have time to use it any more :(. Other funny part is, the case is the most expensive part in the whole system. The way I figured only part that will probably not become obsolete.

It looks professionally done, it is pretty crazy for you to sleeve all these cables individually. I am considering getting some red sleeved cables to spice things up a bit. Which case did you have? The layout is quite unusual.

Since this must be the forum , where we can mention the model cars?
Since my interruption on the hallowed S-Klasse forum I have received PMs about the 1/18 Rolls-Royce Ghost by Kyosho , so I will go into detail I have two models exclusive to Rolls-Royce in Lunar Blue with Silver Satin bonnet and single coach line and Darkest Tungsten.
The detail is off the wall , everything that works in the actual car , be it armrests , fold-Down tables even the pop-Out umbrellas are there finished in a interior that completes every intricate detail, chrome , Art Deco frosted glass , wood and leather are individually beautifully replicated. Every aperture opens including a highly detailed V12 engine.
My next RR edition remains under wraps for now as size is very much an issue with this one.

I have been wanting to get a 1/18 RR Ghost, the details of the interior are probably the best out there. I just can't decide which color combination to get, btw is that a 1/18 Kyosho Phantom model you have inside the black box? They are taking their sweet time to release it.
Some other new additions.
BMW M5 F10 in Sakhir Orange and San Marino Blue.

Oh these are the new colors for the model, are they the dealer exclusive colors?

The BMW M5 is offered by BMW in Monte Carlo Blue and Silverstone II.

The Sakhir Orange and San Marino Blue are offered by the manufacturer out with BMW.
The same manufacturer are working on the new M3.
I only work with BMWi so I have only seen the prototypes for the miniatures but there is going to be a lifestyle programme for the BMW i3 and i8.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom is 1/18 scale and is the Extended Wheelbase model - mine is the last one of two in Munich.
The Ghost is what you would expect a modern RR miniature to be and everything is intricate , detailed and captivating.
The 1/18 model is the standard Ghost but a 1/43 Ghost Extended Wheelbase is available as is a Phantom.

The Phantom is something else , I have never seen a miniature of this range of price excell at the amount of detail offered. I have seen some other colors out with RR of the Ghost, I especially like the Diamond Black.

They are producing the Wraith and Phantom Series II in 1/43 and 1/18 for next year

Another new example is this stunning MINI Cooper S All4 PACEMAN in 1/43.

Yes, it was crazy, I will never attempt it again. I have some nicer pics, I will try find and post it.

The case was by A-Tech Fabrication. It is milled from aircraft grade aluminium. And the cool thing about the case was you could connect the whole case to the CPU with heat pipes and it would act as huge passive heat sink doing away with the need for noisy fans - ideal for HTPC. I think they stopped making that particular case, but they still make other ones. This is the one I brought but with out the LCD option.

Been waiting for these for nearly a year. And After a licensing journey and bankruptcy - the original company went Bankrupt. And because of Chinese laws in Bankruptcy all assets were seized and eventually sold. Meaning the new manufacturer had to take out new license with BMW AG So they are back with a new manufacturer and finally available.

It is good to know they plan the Gran Coupe and M6 models too for this scale. Along with an M5. Judging by pro type on model flyer.

Nice build, did you consider waiting for another few weeks for the Haswell chips to be released?

Nah. I got a good price on the I7. I think it will be enough until I upgrade the computer next time. I was considering gtx 670 as well but the performance boost isn't much better than my 660ti according to various reviews. Also 670 is still pricey.

How much did everything cost? If you don't want to share it here please PM me :)

I see, in Australia the 660Ti retails for $330 AUD, the 670 cost $400 to $430, the 680 cost over $500 so I end up getting the HD 7970 for around $400. I am not sure why Nvidia didn't respond to AMD's pricing strategy and continues to charge a higher price for their gpu.
