That sounds like a dream...

What size is the screen ?

It's 24 inches, and one of the few 24 inch TVs with 1080p resolution. Sony has put the panel out of production because it cost more than the 26 and 32 inch panels. It was tricky to find but I managed to snag one by a random Amazon Retailer who got some from Costco which I had no idea existed here in the UK.

Luw, you're on a buying spree! Damn!

Impressive stuff man, I love tech stuff :D

My most recent purchase was a PS Vita with Uncharted: Golden Abbys. Fantastic game, fantastic system.... But I have already finished Uncharted, and quite frankly the system will be collecting some dust now until I find a new game I can agree paying 50 freaking Euro for!

New computer monitor - 24" from Dell.

Got a set of Creative Gigawork Tii 40 for the computer desk. I was suprised by their size, they are a notch taller than a white bottle.

Centurion, what's up with the mags under the telly? What are they for? You could at least have changed them to EVO or something before posting them here though :D

EVO mags are too good to be used to prop up a TV.

Well when I'm in front of the computer not talking about pneumatic valve springs and discussing what ratio of sulphur, oil and carbon produce the best semi-slick tyres I write and work with something else, women's fashion. Hence the magazines that poise me with a bit of inspiration but more importantly raise the TV to a more comfortable eye level when I'm typing, like now.

Don't get me wrong, not judging you or anything, just wondered why they were there in the first place, the EVO comment would've been there even though they would've been boat mags or playboys or what ever.
Just wanted to make that clear so that you wouldn't get me wrong. Nice TV though, doesn't it disturb the eye a bit though? I can't imagine having my television any other colour than black 'cause I'm frightened it'd steal too much attention while watching a movie or something. :P

On the other note, got myself:

This really ain't becoming cheap, been thinking about putting a coil shock in the rear and maybe a BOS 170mm fork. Next thing is wider bars and XO shifter though.

Great photos mate, massive congrats ! Model is stunning, same as your photos. I don't collect race cars but I may have to make an exception and add this one to my collection. Your wife to be is totally awesome for getting you this for your birthday. Where are you going to display this, and what is inside the book that came with the model?

Yeah my wife to be is amazing... she heard me mention this model when it was first released, and ended up surprising me with one!

As for where am I going to display it... hmm... not sure. Right now I'm in the middle of moving since I got a new job, so once I get unpacked I'd like to show it off above the TV or something. Even thought it cost a bit more than a regular BMW model, the display stand and box are invaluable for such a spectacular looking model... makes the 1:43 standard version look like a toy car!

The book is a compilation of all the BMW Art Cars. It also is a neat addition, and serves as an excellent backdrop when displaying the car. :)

Cost just under US$200 (including shipping)... but IMO, this is the ultimate diecast for a BMW fan! Love it! :D

Here's my most recent purchase. A flea collar for the stray I brought home the other day.

Now I do not usually bring home strays but this was a special case. May 7th was my birthday. Walking past a recently returned loan Passat, I heard a kitten miaow loudly & continously. I asked the guy cleaning it to find the distressed kitten but after 15 minutes, he walked into my office & told me that though he could hear the kitten, he couldn't find it. So I walked down to the Passat and begun to peer into the depths of its 2.0 FSI engine bay. Quite a squeeze I may add. After 5 minutes of struggling to see anything and at the point of giving up, she suddenly appeared walking on the sump guard shaken from the ride of her life. I took her home dreading what to tell my wife; she abhors cats! But I figured what a coincidence. A kitten on my birthday? Must have been a gift from God himself. Couldn't turn it down could I?
