I was having a little bit of issue with my damn ISP and my line has been cut off and this type of BS doesn't happen only when it comes to posting Lambo pics

anyway I'm connected to my neighbours Wifi router for now.
Wow, congrats, which one? And photos and write up please

.
Same here, congrats Soup, I like your understated style, just slip in the purchase of your new Lamborghini below the list of model cars and a computer monitor.
I usually don't like to get involved with people and their biased opinions when it comes to cars, so I might pick up a supercar one day and never mention it to anyone online

because it's a never ending battle between the haters/fanboys and the owners.
I've noticed that many people feel sad and depressed or think I've put a tick on the wrong option because they seem to hate it so badly while I love it to death, which is what really matters in the end

Some of you might think I'm crazy or need to go see a doctor for choosing a manual/RWD over an auto/DSG/DCT + 4WD in a sportscar.
I've been driving the Lambo since last Wednesday and here's what I can tell you guys from my 440miles/705km drive.
I'm trying to stick with a proper engine break-in procedure for the first 2,500km which also includes the tires, brakes, clutch, transmission etc.... then I'll be heading back to the service center for a quick check up on the fluids and maybe some top-ups are required.
What can I say ? The Lambo can turn you into a superstar in one night, free sex service from females you've never met ? cell phone numbers and BBM pin codes etc... can be heard from both sides while in traffic ? too many flashes hitting your face and you're thinking wtf just happened ? I wasn't even speeding.
Getting back home and finding out that there are atleast 5 cars following you isn't fun either.
The Lambo has road presence whether it's parked or moving, it draws everyones attention (thanks to my Tubi-Style exhaust) it makes the 911 look like an old lady that lost her viriginity back in the 70's. That's because most of the idiots out there can't tell the difference between a base Carrera/Turbo/GT3 etc.....
My dealer tells me they've installed aftermarket exhausts on tons of Gallardo's with E-gear, but mine has been by far the loudest and I mean loud as a Carrera GT with straight pipes.
The day I went to order the LP550-2, one of the sales people came up to me and asked me, are you some kind of a special rally driver ?

the last time they received an order with a 6-speed transmission was like back in 2007/2008 for a LP640 and they've only sold 3 cars since the Gallardo/Murcielago were launched.
The factory tried to push me and switch to e-gear at no cost for almost 2 weeks before taking a deposit of over $40k, they thought I'd wuss out or something and the car would end up sitting in the showroom which has happened before.
I really do love driving a powerful car with a manual transmission, but this is the first car that I've driven for almost 4hrs continous and non-stop. When I got out of the car it felt like I had the workout of my life. (it happened only on day 1 and my back muscles started to get used to the torturing Lambo seats vs comfy adaptive sport seats in the GT2)
I'll continue you later on, right now I need to go pick up a friend with a video camera and find a tunnel and do some quick flybys.
To be continued.... GT2 vs LP550-2
