Not sure if this is the right forum for this as I couldn't find any mentions using search, but I'm trying to reset my 2014 GL 350 service indicator after changing my own oil and filter with oil MB 229.52 5W-30 (Part Number IMP1238954 OT) . (Service A5 due in 12 days). The Other forum mostly describes entering the service menu using the telephone answer button during mileage display, and then pressing ok. I've tried a combo of holding both answer and hang up and then ok, and with key position 1 or key position 2, no luck. Also I have keyless go so I removed the go button and simply used the key turned to position 1 and 2 - no luck.
(Used to be easier in my R class).
It's booked in for the remainder of the inspection that it would get during Service A5 (what they describe on phone as a major inspection for fluid leaks, play, filters, brakes, and tire inflation). They're not going to find much as the Pirellis are new, its not leaking, and the previous service indicated that the upcoming service is a minor A service. (dealer will not reset indicator unless THEY change the oil - which is sort of understandable).
Prior service (10,556 kms ago) also included the Air Filter, dust filter, combo filter, a brake fluid flush, a replaced fuel filter, wiper lads, and new rear brake pads.
Besides hints on how to reset the service indicator, where would I find a DVD service manual?
