I stopped by local Porsche dealer today here in Calgary and outside was a brand new Seal Grey GT3 with steel brakes and red calipers. Now I liked this car before I saw it, but after seeing it IRL I think it's Porsche's best design since the Carrera GT. I had already seen the 997 Turbo before and had thought while it was nice, it wasn't for me, the GT3 though...:D

From a straight on rear apperance the GT3 in my opinion is just miles ahead of the 997 Turbo in aggression, it really does look like a "road racer". The car had the standard GT3 alloys..which are great :usa7uh:

Front of the car was acutally missing the valance so it didn't look like the car grounded..but make no mistake :eusa_clap

Lucikly I was able to catch the the sales man showing it off to a few customers, which meant he turned the key and revved it about 15 times, it sounds amazing! One could argue it doesn't quite have the character of a F430 exhaust, but it still has it's own unique sound, like a race car. Might I mention, it revvs like it has no limit, fierce and fast.

I've always been a Porsche fan, but this GT3 :eusa_danc This is why I want one in my garage beside my Zonda F :t-drive:

:t-cheers:

I haven't seen a GT3 but I have seen an orange GT3RS. Unfortunately I didn't get to listen to the sound of the engine but I bet it is much louder than the 997TT which has a very dissapointing engine sound. Did you ask for a test drive?;)

^^
It was not like I expected you to tell me that you did get to drive it. Owner probably don't want any uneccessary milage on their GT3s, more over most of them are already accounted for.
What's good is that we will in three years be able to pick up a used 996 GT3 for a little less than 50k.:usa7uh:
