Really crap comment mate. The mule still has disguise on the front bumper so we cant say for sure the bottom part of the light will be straight and thinner.

I think differently, they are differentiating much more than before all the series, and with the stir caused with the last grills, which also gave very positive results, I am inclined that with the 5 they will go for something more unique and bold than to look like 3 series, which is the most common of the whole family, but well they are pure assumptions of mine, (although the render does not look bad)

The camouflage is so good, you could think they did not modify the rearlights at all.....or they are using the current ones to confuse us... or maybe BMW spend most of the LCI development money on THE 7er and has only little left to spend on THE 5er ?

I have no doubt that the front and backlights will be different from the current car.

i believe they will use the new rearlights as well on all 5er LCI models (sedan & touring) as seen in this "new" spyshots of the touring model.

compared to the "old" spyshot of the same car:

Blue line is part that didn't change, because they will not reshape hood and side wing...

They might as well give it a new hood. Doesn't cost anything and they've done it with the 7er too (where they added 5 cm of height as well).

You're replying to the looks of the M550i, and then you say it desperately needs a facelift.

Surely your intention was to be edgy, or were you just trolling (or actually blind)?

So, basically a slight change in the front lights, a deeper changer in the rear ones, and the expected new bumpers.

The only doubt is how much BMW is changing the rearlights. The graphics look entirely different, but not sure about the shape...
