The headlights are a little bit to large for my taste. But I like this car overall.

Whilst I'll admit that at one point I was strangely excited for the X2, I also have to admit, the X2 is the car that makes me think "Okay BMW, enough now.." In principle I'm fine with the X4, the X6, the Gran Coupes, the Gran Turismos, the Active Tourers and the Gran Tourers... (I might not always love the execution admittedly), but the X2 is just too much more of the same with too little to get excited about for me... it just needed something more to differentiate itself. If it had been a real looker, I might have forgiven it, but as it is I think I prefer the X1 styling to this, or shockingly, the Countryman.

A lot of small details are off, especially the kidney grills, they look cheap and plain, and a more 3D look for them would be welcome

Exactly. The X2 has the appearance of a hatch on stilts but is a crossover so it offers the best of both worlds. The X2 will also provide sustainance when the 1er F20 starts its decline. And again it's based off the UKL Architecture therefore very cost-effective. Everyone wins!
