A4/S4/RS4 RS4 review by Autocar...

The Audi A4 is a line of luxury compact executive cars produced by Audi. Production: 1994-2025. Predecessor: Audi 80. Successor: Audi A5 (B10).
From Autocar Article:
As the revs rise, the V8 adopts a pure howl that continues to rise in pitch if not in tone. And it just keeps going and going and going with utter smoothness as if it would like to do this all day long, braying constantly until the fuel tank was dry. Shift into third with the quick and surprisingly satisfying gearchange and the RS4 suddenly feels very, very rapid. It’s the sort of power delivery that just keeps flowing as you snick up through the gears, so you can’t help growing horns and wanting to drive it flat out as much as possible, revelling in the extra 1000rpm over other performance engines, just as you might in a BMW M5.

Actually a lot of journalists have said that RS4's engine is so great that they expect the engine of the new M3 to be that good.
Of course RS4 can't be compared with current M3 or C55 in performance figures. It can eat both for breakfast.

Well S4 won some tests against M3 but M3 won some also. As for C32 and C55 they were always in the third place in all the comparos i can remember of.

sure, but I thought you were talking only about acceleration so what I meant is that RS4 also eat the S4 in acceleration.

thanks :) I wonder if we cant change the colour for the link or at least a underline?

You can always make it bold, italic, underlined or colored yourself...
But yeah, it should be blue standard!

That's true but RS4's leadership won't last long. New M3 is coming and i predict that it will win the crown.

With that pirce tag the RS4 has not been a leader since there has been faster car for the same price like the M5 and the sligtly more expensive CLS55.
Don't make prediction yet, we don't know exactly how much power the M3 sedan will have and how much it will weigh.

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951).
