Phantom Rolls-Royce Phantom Facelift

Rolls-Royce has used the Phantom name on full-sized luxury cars and limousines since 1925, making it the longest used car model nameplate in automotive history. In the 20th century, the Rolls-Royce Phantom was a very low volume, hand-built limousine, which in its first four generations was custom coachbuilt to the customer's requests, and sometimes extravagant desires. Whilst automobile manufacturing over time became more mechanised and prolific, and vehicles from other manufacturers could be built in greater numbers and at lower prices, the Phantoms remained hand-built, and production of individual cars only began once the order was placed. The use of the name "Phantom" is a long tradition of naming Rolls-Royce models after ghosts or spirits.
Oh this 599 isn't, it is done by Masonary, and it is called the Stallone
For Mansory, that's one of their more subtle creations. Considering the body work done, it seemed more extensive, thus I thought it was from Ferrari's personalization program. But I should have considered that it's doubtful Ferrari commission something like that.

I fail to see how the 599 is well done.

It's not great, but relative to the other cars he owns and what he has done and done to them, it's more understated.

The other thing I don't care for are the clear rear lights. That's just a fad that died 8 years ago. The single exhaust isn't great either. The color theme is definitely extrovert but not offensive, unlike his red and pink Rollers.

Like I really care what the village idiot thinks.

This post was recently brought to our attention via the "report post" system.

Despite this being 4 months old news, I have to ask that such wording will not be repeated again.

Thanks.

I fail to see how the 599 is well done.
The quality of the aftermarket parts are high, fit and finish on all the parts are very tight, there is great visual depth to the carbon fiber parts and the weaves are aligned.

What happened to dignified, tasteful rich people?
would anyone truly tasteful buy a Phantom (oh shit, now I've done it ....where's klier?)
One of the most socially reproachable and revolting things I've ever seen. An anchor motif decal and powder blue two tone? On a Roller? To spend so much money on something so tasteless... we live in a vain and fickle society.

Lol, it is slightly kitsch I know .......but really, throughout its history, Rolls-Royce has often walked a fine line between high culture and high campiness.

Because the Rolls-Royce brand is one of the most universally recognisable status symbols, it naturally will attract customers who like to boldly express themselves and make a "grand entrance".

Personally I don't have a problem with the eccentric colour schemes and grotesque ostentatiousness (it's often quite amusing to see what some people think is beautiful) .....how boring the Rolls-Royce brand would be if every car was black and beige.

Rolls-Royce Sunrise Phantom Extended Wheelbase

Rolls-Royce is demonstrating the capabilities of its bespoke division through a unique Sunrise Phantom Extended Wheelbase.

The main highlight of the car is a special paint that according to Rolls-Royce will pick up the rays of the sun throughout the day in order to generate a “subtle yet striking sparkle.” We will have to see it to believe it, but it does sound quite impressive and it must be a delight to look at in the metal.

We are not big fans of pink cars, but somehow RR made the color look quite appropriate for this Phantom Extended Wheelbase which also has golden accents that pop up depending on the light source.

Rolls-Royce goes on to specify that depending on the time of the day and the sun’s intensity, colors are slowly revealed in the same vein as a kaleidoscope. The lovely exterior has been combined with an equally impressive cabin featuring Sunrise leather upholstery and Dark Spice accents. It has a generous amount of wood trim on the dashboard and this finish has also been applied on the spokes of the steering wheel, door panels, and on the rear center console.

As a final touch, the elegant wood trim has been further beautified by a gold inlaid Spirit of Ecstasy emblem.

Every 2014 Rolls Royce Phantom delivered to customers went through the Rolls-Royce Bespoke individualization program, not one customer ordered the luxury car “off the shelf”. Yet, some customers are looking for even more special things. Carlex Design Europe decided to give Rolls-Royce customers even more ways to personalize their car.

Based on a Phantom Series II, the Rolls-Royce Abyss project highlights some of the special requests the shop received from their customers. The Rolls Royce Abyss can be finessed by the choice of highest quality leathers, wood and other noble materials also the key as a permanent element of the vehicle must reflect the unique style.

The key was handcrafted from 24k gold and exotic leather covered with gold flakes. The idea was to metamorphose the standard object and instead create harmony between the bespoke luxurious car and remarkable key.

The steering wheel was covered with over one kilogram of pure sterling silver. To go even further, the steering wheel had been trimmed using shark skin known for its distinctive texture.

The alloy wheels have been specially designed in 3D to fulfill the whole vision.
