Now I see what you mean. You have comment my posting at the same day when I have posted it. But it was no comment referred to my posting that it is old only that the car itself is "old".
And you have given me the rating yesterday. And I refer it to my post that this was an repost and you given for this reason this rating.

Swell.

The pin stripes on Rolls-Royce cars are all hand painted.
One can only imagine how stressful that job is.

I watched a Discovery Channel program on building the Phanton, it's only 1 guy who does the pinstripes, he's pinstriped every RR that has a pinstrip for decades.

That may not be to everyone's taste, but I think the point of this Serenity variant is to show just how bespoke/custom you can have your Phantom compared to the new Maybach/Pullman. There's luxury...and then there's this.

I agree. It's not my cup of tea but the interior does look serene and I'm sure someone who didn't know you could personalize a Roller in that way is now on the phone to RR to ask for a motif or family crest to be etched on to a silk headliner.

People better hold on tight to their lid-less coffee cups when going over speed bumps! :D

Mark Court.
Seems he uses the shoulder line of the car as a guide. Interesting to watch.

So, he applies those stripes after the car has received its paintjob, if I understood correctly. Then, isn't lacquer applied over the stripes?

I don't think so. Have you ever watched Overhaulin, they guy who does there pinstripes does them last as well, not lacquer over the strips.

Lol, this would seem silly if it was any other car brand. Somehow, for Rolls-Royce it makes perfect sense.

I think that is the thing that keeps Rolls-Royce alive .....it's an idea more than a product. Many Brits are very proud of Rolls-Royce in the same way many Germans are proud of Mercedes - they are more than just car brands, they have become National institutions.

Wow, that's a very manual and human touch that goes beyond the line that sets RR apart from other manufacturers. That's one very steady hand the gent has.

Oh man i envy him, i am completely useless when it comes to drwing precise shapes and lines in a piece of paper. This guy is doing directly on metal.

Rolls-Royce has finally offered Maybach-style reclining seats in the EWB Phantom:

That's a gorgeous shade of blue, and the interior is the definition of regal. Some of the add-ons are just silly though. I mean, I don't care how wealthy a person is unless you are wearing a watch why would you want to transport it?

Man that car looks good! What people always underestimate is that this car is HUGE. The first time I sat in one I thought I was in a large SUV. Especially the convertible is impressive. It's a yacht on wheels that's as tall as a GLE/ML.
