Today I was out driving on the freeway. As always I drove a little faster than the speedlimit.
There was a policecar on the freeway so I slowed down and drove behind him for an half an hour. I wasnt alone doing it. During that half an hour, not a single car passed the policecar. Everyone slowed down and staying behind me :D I had real fun, laughing everytime I saw the brakelights and cars slowed down and staying behind the policecar. When the policecar turned off from the freeway, everyone started to accelerate again.

Thats what I call Respect !!!! :D

I followed a cop car for over 1 hour all the way thru NJ into the border of PA. But we both did 80mph. :usa7uh:

I've done that a number of times too. It's always fun to be behind a cop in one lane and watch people come speeding up in the other lane only to jam on their brakes once they realize the cop is there. This is especially fun when the cop is an unmarked car, usually a Ford Crown Victoria, a Chevy Impala or Chevy Tahoe. The highway patrol where I live at uses mostly unmarked cars.

One problem is that with some many unmarked cars around you can't drive around Crown Vics, Impala, or Tahoes without feeling nervous until you can confirm that it isn't an unmarked police car. If I drove a Crown Vic (I would tint the windows) I would come up behind people real fast and watch them get scared and move out of my way because the wouldn't be sure I wasn't a cop.

true lol ,,, especially with me ,,, i allways speed . :eusa_pray thank god never got caught .

it hasn't happend to me more than 2/3 times. Here in Greece, you just overpass (right verb?) the copcar and continue driving. Not that fast at first, but 5 minutes later you can drive like Just_him. Easy

I'm sure the cops know these tricks. I bet one of the cars in that lane was an undercover cop car and he took down all your license plates numbers. Expect some mail from the cops Just Me! :D

I have friends in the NYPD and when they’re undercover, they’re usually driving a taxi. They always get stopped or if they’re parked, people just hop in.
Some people know they’re cops, ‘cause you don’t always see two white men riding in the front of a cab.

Never saw them in the city, there's one on the Belt Pkwy all the time, his plate is like 8001.... And his windows are tinted all arund. I have seen him stop people before. He followed someone from Bay Ridge ont eh Belt Pkwy, all the way own the Gowanus Expwy till the Battery tunnel, and then pulled him over. Guy was all over the road, and the cab(cop) stayed on him like glue. Guy was basically racing with a cop. Damn that must hurt when you get pulled over.

They're usually on 6th Ave here in Manhattan (or at least the ones I know of).... especially at night, but there's a couple that I know of during the day.

I could get you their license plates :usa7uh: .... J/K
MY cousin writes their cab #, you know, the one on the door and "on/off duty" sign.

But it's always funny when people get pulled over by a taxi. The expression on their faces is hilarious. But like I said, they’re not hard to spot. Usually two guys up front, with no passengers.

Here too.

I hate it, because usually the speed limit here is 100 km/h or 120 km/h, and starting to drive 100 when you drove 160 before that....well......you know how slow that suddenly feels!
