This is going to be another X-class - beautiful concept, everyone wants concept...real life will be a disappointment - they will say is "90% the same" but it's a bit like designer clothing with a spelling mistake on the logo.....was really excited about this, but should know better by now. Inside may be another story...

X Class was actually nice looking...The problem with that pickup it's Nissan Navara underneath

Very likely a textbook example of "acquired taste".

Well the concept looks great, current prototypes look promising but this render is just..bad. Certainly hope the production model looks better as this has the side profile of a Tesla which is probably the worst design reference you could have.

despite that we saw the concept, i'm pretty sure we will be really really disapointed how the serial car will look like

It was nice looking, but the concept set expectations so high that the production model could not be seen as anything but a let down. Compound this with the fact that it was a Nissan Navara knockoff, and as a result was below class benchmarks in a number of areas, meant it was destined to fail.

I don't believe MB knew what they were marketing. Were they marketing a lifestyle vehicle or commercial utility. There was even confusion between sales channels who would be selling what models.

I reckon that it's the stubby bonnet that I'm having problems digesting. Otherwise, it's really not that bad at all. At door handle level and below, it's actually quite nice. I'm attempting to imagine it with the base of the A-pillars moved back some 80-to-100mm and the roof dropped by some 20mm.

Lets go ahead and put that Chevrolet badge on it.

The shape is so generic looking.
All jokes aside, I would be willing to bet it will have more passenger room than the W/V223 ice S.
