As always, a very valid option in every way.
I see that this does not have a Knob to operate the infoteinment, I do not know if it seems to me or I am exaggerating but it is a big problem for me the cars that do not have it and that every time they are more.

I would not be so hard, I think the Octavia always has two points in favor, a very personal, original and elegant design in addition to German engineering (I see it as an Audi badget, which in part it is), that gives the car certain little heart at least

For the knowledgeable eye, but there is also a perception issue according to the market, here for example the common consumer sees it (and thus is positioned), as a more exclusive product than the equivalent VW

It's not got an exciting or beautiful design the new Octavia, but is conservative with some distinctive sharp edges. Definitely can see the VWAG styling cues as the lights front and rear and profile resemble some VW and Audi models. The interior looks good for the class, I like the multi layered top dash with big central screen and digital cockpit. The seats look very comfy front and back. Also it has voice activation control by calling "Hey Laura".

Next will be "Hey Carol, I am but a fool"

It's a very sensible car to buy and its ace card is its huge boot and big interior space which makes it a great family car. The wagon has a massive 640L boot which is only matched by a much larger Mercedes E class T Wagon. The elegant looking hatch has also a massive 600L boot.

Also some impressive powertrains including 2x plug in hybrid versions.

Interior: Big step forward. Looks more upmarket.

Exterior: Huge step backwards. The quad headlights gave it edge and a recognisable identity. Now it's a very anonymous looking car with its small grille and rectangular headlight.

Nice, simple, minimalistic, huge and priced probably (I hope).

A truly great, absolutely soulless product.

How is it overpriced? The SE trims have all the kit you need and it's one sweet car to drive with the 1.5TSI. Super smooth and super quiet.
