A6/S6/RS6 [Renders] 2017 Audi A6

I’m not sure why, but I think the A6/7 interior is superbly executed, yet i don’t care for the A8 interior at all.

Is that a man or a woman's finger with black nail color?:D

Was wondering the same myself... I never knew Dennis Rodman became an Audi test pilot.

So what? We are not the average driver. We all appreciate driving attributes. Which means we are knowledgeable enough to admit the technical superiority of RWD.

Aren't we?
I think we need to show the average buyer the fun that can be had with driving a RWD car. Switching the traction control off and giving a boot on the throttle to get the rear to spin when at a traffic light is one of my favorites when driving my E90 3 series and this gets a lot of attention from other motorists and not too mention trying to get the rear to kick out and do a nice power slide always puts a grin on my face and a wow look on a passing FWD Audi driver.

The vast majority of buyers don’t care which end does the driving. Most probably couldn’t tell you either.

You're the vast majority, but here I deal with connoisseurs. So not with you.

You're talking to a VAG FWD loverboy, no point in starting a discussion.

And awd is technically superior to fwd or rwd.

But the numbers of people posting on forums like this is tiny in comparison to the numbers of people who own and drive cars. Opinions from people frequenting webpages like this are almost utterly worthless.

I doubt most of the members of this page could drive a rwd car faster than they could drive a fwd car.

That’s probably the reason why every winter the car in see most often in a roadside ditch is a 3 or 5 series driven by some twit pretending that he’s on a rally Sweden special stage.

Well I think each layout is superior, depending on what their application is and the objective to be achieved.

I def prefer RWD and I can drive it much faster than a FWD car. FWD is for people who want to get from point A to B without a care in the world of what is going on under the car. It's also for cheap manufacture. RWD is the enthusiast layout. AWD tries to combine both with mixed results depending on who is doing the implementing. All IMO.

I mostly see people in SUVs in the ditch, thinking that AWD/4WD makes them invincible.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
