New Clio RS 200 will be launched in the UK on 15th of May.

This little sporty hatchback has 200 horsepower from a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter engine. It has only 3 more horsepower than the last generation Clio RS 197, but it is lighter and with better aerodynamics.

Clio RenaultSport accelerates from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 6.9 seconds and a top speed speed is 141 mph (226 km(h).

Compared to the standard Clio it is 30.5 mm wider to accommodate the wider front and rear tracks which have been extended by 48mm and 50mm. Wheelbase is extended by 10 mm.

New Clio Renaultsport 200 range is offered again in two versions: Clio Renaultsport 200 Cup and Clio Renaultsport 200. First one comes with a cup chassis and is more performance oriented, while the regular 200 is oriented more comfort. New Clio RS 200 will be priced from £15,750 (17,540 euros).

Reasonable price for what you get:cool:

Quite the impressive little car, especially in black:D

The Clio RS200 is a literally a rocket. Amazing car!

:t-cheers:

I remember the years when the Clio used to be popular. What happened?

VW stepped up their game.

Yeah the Golf is a more premium car than it was 5-8 year ago and Toyota managed to improve the Yaris while introducing the popular Aygo. What did Renault do? They remained as meh! Engine-wise they are not pushing the bounderies of fuel economy and neither are they developing any exciting hot hatch versions of the Clio. It's a no-man's land car.
