Some of you already know that I think this car is extraordinary ...but I am aware that it is not universally loved.

There really is no point debating the Veyron's performance or driving dynamics -- besides, few of us will ever have the pleasure of driving one. ....so this really comes down to appearances.

So, I pose this simple question: how do you rate the Bugatti Veyron?

Thanks to Bruce for first posting this beautiful 'Viagra blue' example. :usa7uh:

It sure is imposing and unique, very much like a brash attempt at being the best and the most flashy - but it is certainly not beautiful.

Bugattis were always brash and flashy really ...I can forgive that.

I have always like the way it looks, it's different from other supercars, unique -- as you said.

I voted for the 3rd option. I think the Veyron is a great looking car, however it does not stir my soul as much as other exotics.

1st option..there is Zonda and Viagra for that
2nd...not even near
3rd... its not even remotly good looking to me..so no
4th... well that isnt true really..there are some really ugly supercars out there

so this leaves me with the 5th
wich sounds about right.. as it looks phat.. is phat.. and makes alot of noise
in other words its a rosie ..haha:D

Well put, I agree. I won't even TRY to outdo what you just said. You win this thread.

Artist?!! :roll2:...... :t-hihi:

I`ve already pointed out this car is a product of very wasteful engineering for the numbers it possesses, heck, it`s only 50-or 55mph faster than the Porsche CGT and Merc SLR! with 16-cylinders and 4-turbos it should be like 100mph faster.

The design very thick looking with some old-world touches that will ware well with time but I believe it will age much faster than the SLR or Porsche CGT! There are many weak points in the design for a 1,300.000 product.

Unfortunately, the Laws of Physics, as pesky as they are, kinda get in the way of your thinking.

And, I voted for the third option. I like what it looks like (it's definitely unique), but I'm not passionate about it. I kinda prefer the EB110, myself.

LOL

...but that option was supposed to be a joke.

Now I feel really mean.

I would say it looks like Anna Nichole. Big, mean, in your face with some beauty in there somewhere:D. But seriously speaking the Veyron is appealing. It might not have the beauty of a Bentley Azure, Porsche CGT or an AMV8 but I definetly like it.
If you think about it some of the world most beautiful cars have some uglyness in them like the Z4, Zonda, Quattroporte and F430. With creating a 1000hp 1.5 million car Bugatti simply had to get nuts and design someting which stands out. Sometimes normal beauty isn't enough, super cars are supposed to be aspirational.

PS
Im glad some of you guys agree with me:usa7uh:

ERECTILE DISFUNCTION!
these options are great rob....

I love this car because it makes no sence-I mean each one loses 3 million-that alone is awesome and its so wrong its right.....

nice poll rob!

Thanks Matt, I agree with you

...and The Artist has given us a new critical term: "a Rosie". :D :usa7uh:

So like a B9 tribeca is a rosie? :D

I can see this word being implemented in the dictionary...

Rosie:
1) a woman who seems to always be on her period.
2) a fugly automobile

:t-cheers:
