I am not a Muslim but I have had to fast a few times for about 48hours (for medical reasons) ....it's not fun - but it really makes you appreciate food more

I am rnds, we break our fast at sunset, yeah u really get to appreciate food, but thats not the only thing u benifit from fasting they are so many and some we dont even imagine, anyways am kinda in a hurry now i might talk about it later if someone is interested.

Robert, we fast from dawn to sunset. It all depends on where you live. I fast for almost 13 hours these days, but when the Daylight Saving Time ends, I’ll be fasting for like 12 hours or less.
The first couple of days are hard, but afterwards it becomes very easy. Come to think of it now, I don’t eat as much as I used to when I wasn’t fasting. Children, anyone who’s traveling, the elderly and the ill don’t have to fast. Did I forget anyone guys?
