Looks good this movie. Can't wait for August 19th (Monday) I never watch movies at the weekend - too many people at the cinema plus you get kids/teenagers throwing things/food.

Honestly , this can be a really good movie . Not a A tier one , but a very good one.
For those who saw the last version of Aliens , with the extended scenes ( regarding Newt's parents driving to the eggs and the base scenes) , it's nice to see what really happened after that .

The reviews for A L I E N Romulus are starting to show from non-media critics. And they seem to be good, praising its story line, characters, defacto twist ending and aesthetics.
They also say it avoids modern film making tropes that are like an afterthought shoehorned in. Surprising since it’s Disney.
Ratings indicate that it’s up there with A L I E N and A L I E N S. but also has connections to the more later outings such as Covenant and Prometheus. Which will satisfy those with love/hate relationships on both films.
Prometheus had too much expectation especially with what was done before.
People wanted and expected Xenomorphs all they got was Black Goo.
Wild plot points aside. Extracted from the universe it remains an intelligent piece of modern science fiction despite its flaws.
There is also a new trailer which is spoilerific. So I won’t post. Roll on Friday.
