E-Class (W212) Pre-Official: W212 Mercedes-Benz E-Class


The W212 and S212 Mercedes-Benz E-Class series is the fourth generation of the E-Class range of executive cars which was produced by Mercedes-Benz between 2009 and 2016 as the successor to the W211 E-Class. The body styles of the range are either four-door sedan/saloon (W212) or a five-door estate/wagon (S212).

I'm not saying it's supposed to be like a Bentley, but MB could at least have spiced up the controls with one or two buttons in metal or added a chrome strip here and there. The impression is sadly incredibly bare and entry level.

^instead of chrome it has a strip of wood if you look closely
i think its a nice change.. doesent pop out that much..

Auto Motor und Sport already ran some of it in their last issue. The hood of the E-Class for example will be raised at the rear (near the windshield area) within milliseconds in the event of a collision with pedestrians for example. This is supposed to minimize physical damage to the person.

Just played with the configuration!! And the first thing I've noticed is that this car is DAMN expensive…

Exclusive-Package is a must have and 18' rims…and some other little gadgets and a E 250 CDI costs about 65.000 €! :eek2:

Damn and the 4-cylinder engines are only available with the old 5-speed automatic or 6-speed manual!

One thing I hate about Mercedes in Europe that cars like the E-Class, S-Class or even the CL-Class come with these dirt cheap and ugly ass rims! :t-banghea

Anyone know what is up with the key? This little screen? Looks like a GM key.
