@ WAND Many congrats on this amazing purchase..you are a lucky guy to have such a beast. The W221 is still a great luxury saloon and still looks fresh but awesome in 65 AMG guise with full leather trimmed dashboard, rear seat entertainment etc plus that monstrous engine..

You need to try it or to be driven in to get real impression.
Words cannot describe feelings.
It's a luxury animal, when floor it, you have feeling like airplane when take-off, just sound is better here.
Comfy, isolated, you don't have feeling of speed, you feel like it is much more slower speed than indeed is.
Touch gas for a few seconds and you go 200kmh easily.
Engine plays with car, beside it's about 2,3t heavy.
It push car like it's is feather.
From semaphore to semaphore in the city, from zero accelerates to 140kmh then breaking and turn right at the second semaphore.
Car is sublime, you need to try it to get real picture.
Today I was in service, on the highway with tempomat set at 140kmh, consumption was 13,9 lit.
From service to home it was about 150-160 with some kick-downs and few times above 200kmh, at 180kmh it was about 18 lit, 150 -15lit, 160kmh - 16 lit, average 15,9 lit.
That's ok for car like that.
You can travel with this car as much kilometers as you like, thousands, journey in this car is pure enjoying.
Some interesting data :
Rear brake disc is 1540 euro each ( steel ), front are 1380 euro each.
Computer for parking brake is around 1000eur.
Front shock absorber 2300eur.
Some parts are expensive, but some aren't.
Rear brake pads are 220 euro, front are 380 euro ( it have double brake pads at front )
9 lit oil in engine and 4 lit in gearbox. Regular service is around 400 eur, engine oil and filters ( without gasoline filter ). Service interval is 365 days, or 15.000km.
Transmission service ( oil ) is around 80 eur for parts.
Today car was above 4 hours in service, their charge for work was about 110 eur.
Back to the car, it puts smile on your face all the time.
You can drive it normaly or slow, and also floor it, and then car transforms into jet-airplane, both sound and acceleration.
They made unbelievable car.

I know words can't really give the impression of this beast lol.., but what a car..with all the bells and whistles.

This pic just shows my absolute love to the SL.I can't get over how beautiful and sleek the C pillar and overall roofline is executed,flows into the boot so smoothly,and it's even a retractable hardtop,hats off to the man.and the car's overall shape is so beautiful too.

When we hear about Mercedes-Benz brand, the first model to come to mind will the flagship S-Class. I personally have always been a hardcore S-Class fan, all the S-classes over the years except W220 have captured my soul. W220 was weak in its exterior design and interior design & build, only good part for me in that series is the introduction of S65. W126, W140, W221 & W222 have been very strong models of new era of S-classes. New S-Class has already been recognized so well by the experts and with the introduction of Maybach variant it has been an outstanding one.

Another or equally loved model from Merc stable is G-Class, which is already been considered as a classic. Its off-road capability, heritage & pedigreed, commanding driving position & boxy design make it way different even from its siblings. I wish with the new G, Merc should improve the ride & handling and the safety and retain it as the flagship of star SUVs.

Among the current models these are my top favorites - S-class Coupe/Cabrio, AMG GT, new E-Class & C-class Coupe.
