Nice poll.
M3, R8 performance for almost half the price and practicality of seating 4.
But in the end it is GTR, that is unbeatable when it comes to the value proposition, if you can manage to snatch one at MSRP (or even 10k above).

GT-R for me. Even though I haven't driven or even seen one in the metal. If the GT-R proved to be not as good as the reviews and performance stats, then I would go with the M3. I don't think the small performance advantage over the M3 of some of the other models for twice the price could be described as good value in my opinion.

911 Turbo for me. It is the quintessential German sports car.

I can't understand people's choices in this poll! Or maybe this poll is just obtuse.

How can people be voting for cars like the 911 Turbo and Audi R8? The 911 Turbo make no mistake is an epic car and it's an all time favourite of mine. But is it good value for money? Maybe - if you've got that kind of money...

But bear in mind, a 911 Turbo is 3 times the price of an M3 (down here at least) and an R8 is double! Now, for sure the R8 is an epic piece of dynamic machinery but the question is: is it worth two M3's, or alternatively, is it worth an M3 Coupe and a C63 AMG?

The 911 Turbo and R8 are fantastic value for money - only if money is no object. In real value vs. all-round performance terms, the M3 is the bang-for-buck king. Not even the el-cheapo Jap rally replicas can match the M3's combination of premium quality in every detail and motorsport specification mechanicals.

I suppose the results would have still been the same in part of voting for the Corvette even if the base model was included instead of the ZO6.

well, i voted for the corvette, ever since i got a ride in a new ZO6 ive been in love with it... and im kinda partial towards the vette since my dad owns one
