The S65 looks aggressive, and I like that. I don't like the boot lip on the S8 and the grill is a little too overpowering; it steals all the attention from the other parts of the car. The grill does not fit the lines of the S8 IMO.

I think the S8 looks better, although I'm still getting used to the grill. It's a love-hate relationship. Sometimes I look at the front straight on and the grill is just overkill. Then from the side, it looks ok.
As for the S65, I've been saying the whole time that if I was ever to like the new S-class, the AMG is an absolute must. Still, I look at the pictures and I wonder to myself if it's a mix of muscle or is it just chubby looking? But it's definitely better than regular S I think.

So up to that point, both cars are tied... then as soon as I look at the performance, well, S wins.

S65 AMG gets my vote

Just thought of something... wouldn't it be more appropriate to compare the S8 to an S500? or S55 AMG if that exists? (don't know much about new S's engine choice).

S500 will be wrong.. cause its not a sports modell..
So for now we only have the S65AMG.. there will be a S63 AMG.. wich ofcourse is more in the line of the S8...

S65 for me the S8 is a very disturbing car with its ugly grill and underpowerd engine.. so no thnx to that.. and even in teh S8 vs W12 poll i voted for the W12.. wich imo is the ultimate A8...
