These specs are face melting and my brain is struggling to comprehend how it would feel to drive this car at 10/10ths.:eek::eek::eek::eek:

"The £1.92 million Pininfarina Battista, which produces 1900bhp and 1696lb ft from a quad-motor powertrain, has been confirmed to hit 0-62mph in an eye-watering 1.86sec, and 0-124mph in 4.49sec.

Its braking figures are equally impressive - stopping from 62mph to zero in 31 metres, which, the firm says, is a world record for an electric car and far beyond the company’s initial targets. "

Pininfarina no prepared surfaces.🍿

Very interesting.

"Inversely, the Battista also accomplished an incredible feat in braking. It came to a complete stop from 100 km/h in just 31 meters. The previous record holder was the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, which accomplished the feat in 38.7 meters, Car and Driver found in their tests."

That's impressive.

In this type of car with 1900hp of electric power I suppose the 0-100km/h time is not that important (it all depends on traction) but higher speeds such as 0-200 and 0-300, 1km and 1mile that's what separates the boys from the men. This and the Nevara are mind blowing and time bending fast. Fast with a Capital F and the fastest accelerating production cars ever.

"The Battista is based on a carbonfibre chassis commissioned from Croatian electric hypercar manufacturer Rimac. The 120kWh battery pack, electric motors and capacitors are also sourced from there, but although the tech is shared, Pininfarina has done lots of work to ensure that its vision of the Battista remained pure. As a result, Pininfarina did significant work on the Battista’s overall proportions, moving the windscreen forward by 180mm, giving it a more traditional Italian mid-engined supercar silhouette."

That's a very significant change or modification.

"What a great end of the week, #TopGearItalia named our #Battista as the Hypercar of the Year 2022!"

Well done! Top Gear (Italia) production hypercar of the year 2022! Award winning and production acceleration and deceleration record setting, plus range and they've actually been delivered to clients!

"On 1st November 2022 at precisely 14:34:37 UTC, Battista accelerated from 0-200 km/h in 4.75 seconds – a new record for a production car.
The time was achieved at the Nardo test facility in Southern Italy with a production-ready Battista fitted with standard-fit @michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tyres.
On the same day, Battista also achieved the following results.
0-60 mp/h in 1.79 seconds
0-100 km/h in 1.86 seconds
0-120 mp/h in 4.49 seconds
0-200 km/h in 4.75 seconds
A few weeks later, Battista repeated the astonishing 0-200 km/h performance during testing at the Dubai Autodrome, cementing its status as the world's fastest-accelerating production road car.

Bravo Pininfarina Automobili. Keep this level of transparency up!

(NOTE I used an online program to piece the pictures halves together otherwise it'd of looked a bit silly!)

I believe this is passenger plus driver who isn't a professional level racing drivers as those who tested for Pininfarina at Nardo detailed above. It's still very quick, Bugatti Chiron levels of quick at 100 and 124MPH or 160 and 200km/h @4.526 and 6.123 seconds respectively through a frame by frame counter.

Speedometer discrepancies and inaccuracies considered. I don't believe she was in "Furiosa" mode, or whatever full power mode is called.

Anyway we need independently verified and tested figures.

Also EDIT:

km/h to seconds

0-100= 1.99
0-200= 4.99
0-300= 8.99- 9.99
0-350= 12.99

^My calculations "Car and Driver Magazine" style so +/- roll out of 0.3 seconds.

😃

The Pininfarina Battista (Pininfarina Automobili are wholly owned by Mahindra) was "unveiled" in India.

But I was made aware of~

The Pininfarina Battista is very very seriously shifting speeds there, there's no denying it!

The manufacturer has had a CEO change and after prompting, someone mentioned 0-300km/h, he said something like, "watch this space!" LOL!

I can't say with 100% certainty but it looks like they may be attempting 200MPH runs.

Well we will soon find out!🙂

The last time I was this invested in well, whatever it is they are doing, was October 2020. We knew about it beforehand.

Exactly the same this time around. Except I'm trying to temper myself!

It's funny I'm using for me completely unorthodox Social Medias and other ways of getting the information however so little there is.

I don't know what it is exactly they are doing but if it were me, 0-400-0km/h makes sense.

It'll be a memorable one for many reasons.

Anyway News should arrive in the next few days.🙂
