Touareg Paris 2006: Facelifted Volkswagen Touareg

Ok that thread was many months ago. No need to be so harsh to siko.:D

MikeJ, Touareg will have the new 4.2 V8 FSI from Audi. So are the prices clearly cheaper than Q7's? Because otherwise they're going to be on the exactly same market with the same engines and that's not a good strategy from VAG.

I believe that in US market the two cars have a 10k price difference for same engine and equipment.

from the front it's more than facelift it's near to be new generation

Nah... new generation usually implies a platform change.

I disagree with that statement to a degree the Q7 & Touareg are very different vehicles.

-Q7 is more family orientated ie 7 seats & more emphasis on onroad driving.

-while the Touareg isn't the most conventionel 4WD in terms of interior space, in terms of its offroad ability it is up with Range Rovers & Landcrusier Prados & some other real 4wds.

Saw the facelift the other day @ local dealership and my honest opinion is, its not much of a visual difference (I guess most changes are underneath where it matters ;)).

Can't wait for all new Touareg in 2-3 years :D
