BTW, is anyone else getting quite tired of Audi using the RS4's wheels on every other car in their range? I mean, it's available for the Q7, TT, S3 and A8. It's overkill if you ask me - similar to the situation with the 55 AMG wheels for MB.

That's the "shunt line" of the front hood. It's a design element that was carried from TT Mk I.

Yannis, i agree the white looks great..but that big black line "shunt line" destroys the harmony the rest of the car is creating...personally I hate the line but other than that the car looks great. Plus...i've never been a fan of the older TT

It's nice to live in a fantasy world where cars don't need things like shut-lines, but alas, we still need hoods that open and close. I do believe that white is a bad hand for the TT because of this peculiarity, so I'll just take mine in black or graphite.

True Osna ...I don't know what NarutoRamen is on about, I always found that shut line to be quite in harmony with the overall aesthetics of the design.

.......it's not the veritable jig-saw puzzle of cut lines and joins the Mercedes S class is.
