Palais Bulles
I know you are going to laugh at me when I say this but Palais bulles is the the most impressive house I have ever seen. Sure the exterior looks like something straight out of a 90s cartoon movie but the interior is breath taking. I'm a big fan of 60s interior decor and the interior of this house is a 9 on a sacle of 10. Not only are the furniture very stylish but bubbles and the whole planning of the house is yummie yummie. Further more the houce is located in one of the worlds most beautiful geographic areas aka the coast of southern France, I do prefer the Italian coast though. The house was built during the 70s for you who wonder.

You know, to tell the truth, I am starting to get tired of "modern" architecture, it seems people are trying to impress more than move forward.

I have to agree with Warot, that the only thing that I like about this, is the pool.

^^
I get what you mean. The "modern" movement has lasted a bit too long. I like emotions, which is why I posted this house. It doesn't look as cold as sterile like the majority of houses I have saved pictures of on my computer. I like emotions.:)

Technically this is part of the Modern Movement. It is a very common misconception for people to assume that The International Style, influenced by the Bauhaus school, is what Modernism is all about. The Modern Movement emcompasses much more than that ...The International Style is only a part of it. This 60s Modernism is particularly interesting because it does exploit new techniques in construction and has a new attitude to living ...this house absolutely embodies the attitude of the 1960s.

I was correct, it is Pierre Cardin's house. His, André Courrèges and Paco Rabanne's wonderful 'Space Age' clothes from the 1960s would be perfect for a woman to wear in this wonderful 'Space Age' house.

It is funny how this once Avant Garde house now looks slightly nostalgic -- it belongs to a more optimistic and imaginative era ...a time when science and 'The Future' seemed to promise a better world for everyone. It reminds me of Barbarella and 2001 A Space Odyssey.
