Nice pics from Jalopnik, especially the top one...

It seems this car has the right balance of practicality and whimsy to make it something worth checking out.

Yes the Clubman is most anticipated. At the IAA you can take a ride in the Clubman across the infinity loop for 3 or 4 laps.
It is practical and it is versatile too. It is hoped that many C-Segment customers would consider this car. It is also fantastic to drive especially in particular the Cooper D. In a word Clubman is brilliant and ingenious. Its like a more expensive Citroen Cactus.

I much prefer the non-S models, less fussy around the front and rear.

That tiny digital cockpit is a joke, the way its shaped and executed looks terrible. I do however like that half carbon fiber half leather steering wheel, it looks good to feel in the hands.

Its been a while since a scoop on a photoshoot.
But it's nice to see British plates advertising the first Brexit MINI.
Mines a Cooper S"e" though.

Mini
It's not easy to design a new Mini. The brand still holds tight to its original Sixties-era design language. Dual round headlights and a flat roof are non-negotiable. But the pace of change in the automotive industry demands new generations every five or so years, with light design and technology refreshed sprinkled in between. What's a novelty brand to do?
In the case of the Mini Cooper Clubman, freshly refreshed for 2020, Mini made the changes so small and integrated them so fully into the existing design that you'd be forgiven for thinking the Clubman hasn't changed at all.

Leading the tweaks to the exterior are changes to the grille and headlights, which can now be outlined in piano black instead of chrome in the sporty S trim. The S's grille is now a mesh pattern instead of the more traditional horizontal slats found in the base model. There are also three new paint colors: Indian Summer Red, British Racing Green, and Enigmatic Black. The Mini badge has evolved slightly, with the car's body color now visible behind the wing elements. LED taillights are now standard, with an optional Union Jack motif in the brake lights. LED fog lights are standard in S models. Inside, all the USB ports are now USB-C ports, in a nod to changing times.

Drivers who are looking for something a little special can take advantage of the Mini Yours program, which allows buyers to choose premium interior and exterior trim options, including the new Lounge Carbon Black leather color and three varieties of piano-black trim with color-changing ambient backlighting. The Mini Yours program brings two more Union Jack Easter eggs to the Clubman, too. Owners can choose to have flag designs emblazoned on the back of the front headrests or opt for the new 18-inch wheels that subtly echo the United Kingdom's heraldry.

Mini worked hard to make sure that the tweaks to the Clubman wouldn't change the car's retro character, and they haven't. This mid-cycle refresh brings slight updates to the Clubman's look, and, in the case of the USB-C ports and the not-for-U.S.-market matrix high-beams, keeps it up to date with the latest technology. Otherwise, it's business as usual for Germany's most British brand.

The refreshed Clubman will hit dealer soon

MINI

Mini (stylized as MINI) is a British automotive brand founded in 1969, owned by German BMW since 2000, and used by them for a range of small cars assembled in the United Kingdom, Austria, and the Netherlands. The word Mini has been used in car model names since 1959, and in 1969 it became a brand in its own right when the name "Mini" replaced the separate "Austin Mini" and "Morris Mini" car model names.
