Another S65 coupe spotted in Diamond White metallic, absolutely stunning from every angle. It seems like these cars are being more appreciated as I am seeing more of the S coupe on the road.
Peak modern quintessential big body Mercedes. Oh how far we've fallen...

I've had mine since 2019, just before COVID and the EQS pushed killed the order books. One to never to be sold. Best all-round understated performance/comfort coupé of the century. Very reliable as well with proper maintenance.

Talk to the wall if the argument is that the Bentley Continental GT and Spectre are better all-round.

Yeah that truly is a form of perfection. The shape of this car is unheard of. Will never be repeated again. All the ratios are perfect from every angle.
Tbh.... All they need to do is just bring this back into production. No changes to anything, except the software.

It genuinely is a dream of mine to own this car.

Now that my dad isn't driving, I'm so tempted to sell the 223 and get a low milage FL 63 or 580.

I just wonder if ill find the driving tech a big step back. But then this car has so much else to love that the 223 does not.

Biggest car purchase mistake ever... buying the M850i GC over the S580 Coupe back in 2019.

I don’t think it’s a big step.

Make a testdrive, the biggest issue is that there’s no 4matic on RHD with the S63.

Interior quality is clearly much better than on the 223.

A M850 is a tough sell in today's market - good luck. I must say keeping the W223 and complementing it with a 217 is solid combination that can hold till next decade, since MB's going to ride out the W223 for a while anyway. You experience the greatness of the last gen balancing more traditional S feel + timeless design and the W223, which is more "tech-y" but has the incremental improvements in NVH, ride quality, and overall user interface.

One thing that kind of annoys me is that you get in the C217 and the are lots of nice silver touch points and tactile buttons in your immediate zones, which dont get dirty fast. Then you get in the W223 and you have to keep a microfiber cloth handy to wipe all the dust and smudges on the same touch points. Gloss black is an industry plague.
