Thanks frenchie. I cannot wait to see this car at the dealer instead of at an auto show.

I take it you're a salesperson? If so, has the GLA been officially released? How is the C-Class doing in your shop?

GLA release yesterday but haven't made it to lot.
C class very slow going. Only one so far with a couple more going out this week end.
Same boat for the other area dealers

Is it the price and/or the mandatory 4Matic? Hopefully all the new promotion will help. I've been seeing C-Class commercials everywhere now.

We just haven't have traffic on them.
And price is the objection.
You can lease a E for close to the same.

Has there been any uptick in C-Class traffic? I ask because they have been advertising it like crazy.

Not really. sold our 2nd one yesterday.
Put some in loaner to generate interest.
Talk to a GSM from other store that is bigger than us and they have only out since released

the new s500 coupe sounds so different from the s500 saloon and the rest of the 500 from mercedes

OMG.........THAT MEANS THEY ARE HERE!!!!!!!!!

M

It appears so. We weren't expecting them until later in the month but were pleasantly surprised to see it this morning.

In what state is your dealership? How are the GLA and C doing in your store?

Bethesda, MD just outside Washington DC. GLA's just got here so we won't know for a few weeks but the initial interest has been very strong. The C-class, on the other hand, is doing very well at our dealership. It had a slow start the first week it was out but sales have picked up now. It's interesting to see many former E-class owners now considering the W205 as their next 'upgrade'.

Seems to the be the case everywhere. I know they are advertising the hell out of the C now. Yeah I can see E shoppers picking it now. A loaded C400 with Airmatic is compelling especially since you can't get airmatic on a E350 or E550 anymore or the new E400 I don't think.
