This is the most elegeant coupe Mercedes has made in a while,i guess it should be since its the flagship coupe but damn, this is a major overhaul compared to the CL. That interior is the perfect blend of the S class and C class and that all leather dashboard where the glovebox is located is amazing. glad to see they stuck to the concept's roots

All car is beautiful... more or less...

...EXCEPT the back of the car and tail lamps. WTF?! Laguna coupe?
Back side is weird. It doesn't fit to the rest of ther car.

What did the designer want to say, I have no f****** idea...

THE WORST "CL" of all. :(

Anyone else getting Laguna Coupe vibes from the rear?

Yup! Also thought that!

I think Mercedes just peed on its competition with this car.

I like the front, i like the side profile, the interior looks gorgeous too, but the back... I definitely prefer the Limousine. Still, this can change when I see it in person.

This car is absolutely gorgeous and this is the first time I have ever used this word to describe a car. I didn't think MB can better the interior of the S sedan but they stepped it up to another level with this S coupe. It is more sporty yet it kept the luxurious feel of the sedan.

I forgot to say in my previous post: if this is the shape of things to some, can you imagine the next C Coupe?:love::love:

Well my friends, unfortunatly you dont know the history of big Mercedes Coupes.
Already in the 50's the nomenclature was in the center.
So its a big nostalgic/retro thing ;)

I consider my 42-year old self enlightened and educated. Thanks Sonder!

Was next to a CLA with the chrome grille on a sunny day yesterday and it gleams so nicely glad to see Mercedes is putting this new grille in most of its new models, mainly the coupes which i think its intended for

Wow! The only bad thing about that tan interior, would be the difficulty in getting out of the car upon arrival at whatever intended destination. I would want to just sit there and luxuriate.

Which/Who will be the first car manufacturer to engineer a disappearing steering wheel, so that you can really just sit in the cockpit and use the large multiple screen real-estate as you would in your living room or office? Of course you wouldn't do this while driving. Or perhaps the gear-selector would be made to double as a joystick, available for emergency maneuvers, as autonomous technology evolves. That is the path that we are on isn't it?

God al-"in the name of god, f#cking"-mighty! I expected something beautiful, but this just exceeds everything. When i saw the first leaked photo in that green colour, i thought it looks kinda dull, but this, wow. Merc is really on a good way to the top again. Gordon Wagener, the chief designer, is doing a really good job, and he probably will he as famous as Mr. Sacco when he continues making such beautiful cars.

Merc is just pushing the boundaries in every possible way. The technological achievements of the last years are just stunning. The self-driving-assisten system, Magic Body Control, and now this, a car that leans in the Corners, making driving more fun, is just amazing. The competition doesn't even come close in that point. Furthermore the Interiors are just the best in their classes. Look at the new C-Classes Interior and compare it with the one in the 3 Series. Its simply amazing. I mean can you imagine the 6-Series as a competitor to this? I definitely cant

They should buy the slogan "Nothing comes close" from the Eurofighter and use it for their cars ;)

Merc has its bad years behind, an a great future is showing on the horizont
