Wraith [Official] Rolls-Royce Wraith

The Rolls-Royce Wraith is a full-size ultra-luxury car/grand tourer manufactured by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and based on the chassis of the Rolls-Royce Ghost sedan which is also shared with the Rolls-Royce Dawn convertible. The Wraith shares its nameplate with the 1938 model by the original Rolls-Royce company. The body style is a two-door pillar-less coupe with suicide doors, where all side windows can roll down like in a convertible. This body style was popular in American cars during the 1950s and 1960s, and was known as the hardtop body style, not used by Rolls-Royce since 1955.
My pleasure dude, any time... It's not everyday that we (at least most of us) get to have a ride in a Rolls afterall...

P.S. Having been driven aside, I honestly think the Wraith is the best looking Rolls out there, and doesn't compromise the luxury and comfort intertwined with the Rolls-Royce brand in the least bit .... For the record, my friend had a Bentley Continental GT Speed until January, which he sold after finding it more "uncomfortable" than the Rolls

When comparing ride quality of the Rolls and Continental, the differences are day and night. This is one of the reasons Continental sales are all but dead. Another is the sense of occasion.

The Continental had this market to itself for a good 10 years, then the Wraith and later the S Coupé took over the Ultra GT and GT category respectively.

I agree with this one 100%, and neither the Wraith nor the S-Class Coupe look like they'll be giving up their market share anytime soon... Let's see how the GTC4Lusso (though this is yet another category within the GT segment) and the DB11 are going to fare in this tough market...

That said, me, Slicknick, an absolute supercar nut who found high-end luxury cars a bit too senile for his taste, AM COMPLETELY SOLD....I just love the Wraith

OK, with all due respect, it looks out of place on a track

A Wraith owner got a special surprise after parking in a no park zone. The Wraith was gone before he stepped out of the building.

The NYPD absolutely loves getting the opportunity to tow high dollar automobiles.

At least they were nice enough not drag the car around with the handbrake on.

Out of curiosity, how much are the fines in NYC in those cases?

EDIT. Never mind, I found it, regular tow fees are around 185 USD it seems, according to the NYPD website

Yeah, how very considerate of them, right?
Toll truck drivers in Sydney don't care, they just do whatever that is the easiest for them. I once saw a car having its front bumper crushed when being loaded onto the truck.

Ouch, would hate to have my exotic towed if I were an Australian billionaire

I had to laugh when the guy introduces Timo as an endurance racing champion... No wonder it catches Timo's attention :D

End of the month, gotta meet the quota :D

@slicknick
I've never gotten towed, but my cousin once did for being too close to the fire hydrant. I think he ended paying $350 for everything. This is a while back.

Rolls-Royce uses carbon fiber for $45,854 Wraith luggage set

Wraith Carbon Fiber special edition which didn’t really live up to its name as it only brought some interior cabin carbon fiber trim. That was only to improve aesthetics, but now carbon fiber has been used in the frame of this new luggage thanks to its lightweight and durable properties.

The “Wraith Luggage Collection” encompasses six pieces that were designed in such a way as to “reflect the unparalleled design aesthetics of Rolls-Royce motor cars.” Like on some performance cars, the handles have been developed to guarantee even weight distribution and were tested to obtain optimal ergonomics.

As a connection to the company’s road cars, each bag is adorned with the “Spirit of Ecstasy” flying lady figurine while the self-righting wheel centers come with the double-R emblem. The luggage set can be had with either a single- or two-tone finish for the hand-stitched leather which has the same color thread as the one used in the road-going cars.

As you would expect form anything that has the Rolls-Royce logo, the luggage set doesn’t come cheap. It’s available at the company’s dealerships in United States for $45,845 ($44,925 in Canada) while in Europe it’s going to set you back €28,984 (£24,248 in U.K.). Buy it in Japan and you’ll pay ¥4,753,323 and for the rest of the world it costs the equivalent of $42,606.

FYI guys, I need your input on this one...Since the day I had that ride in the Wraith, nothing that I'm driving/riding/spotting on the road feels impressive anymore :( The other day, I found myself arguing with a buddy of mine (bug Ferrari fan) how cheap the 488 feels, not to mention I feel the urge to burn the Lexus I have as a company car (or suddenly start thinking the F10 5-series another friend of mine drives has an exceptionally hard ride(???))...I really don't know how to get out of this guys...What would you do if you were me?

Hey, nothing beats the smoothness of a V12, and the magic ride of its cars. I had a ride in a Phantom almost ten years ago, and I still remember it.

As for that towed Wraith, the owner will probably notice a slight wind noise if they forced opened his door like they did to my cousin's Honda. But of course there's no comparison between the two cars.

It wasn't just the V12, the whole package of comfort, opulence, silence, and unparalleled luxury I suppose...

Like I said, it makes an S-Class/7-series/A8 low grade; it makes a Ferrari/Aston feel cheap&unreliable, a Lexus' feels boneshakingly hard to ride in, and all the "worldly" models from other OEM's just feel nasty
