Rolls-Royce Wraith Porto Cervo

Limited to three units
Following a June preview, Rolls-Royce has released additional details and images of their Wraith Porto Cervo special edition.

The words "Rolls-Royce" and "bespoke" go hand in hand as nobody buys a stock RR model and now the prestige British marque is providing a closer look at their latest gem, a Porto Cervo special edition of the Wraith coupe of which only three cars are planned for production. It premiered recently at the Rolls-Royce Summer Studio in Porto Cervo, Sardinia and adopts a nautical theme with an Azurite Blue exterior combined with a Navy Blue cabin.

It can also be visually distinguished by its special coachline with an Arctic White Promenade du Port Bespoke emblem which has also been embroidered on the headrests. The interior hosts a lavish Arctic White full natural grain leather upholstery and Royal Walnut Canadel paneling to resemble the ambiance of a luxurious yacht.

There aren't any mechanical changes, so this special Wraith has the same V12 6.6-liter twin-turbo engine with 632 PS (465 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) which will also power the IAA-bound Dawn convertible.

BMW is clearly looking to rain on the S-Class Cabriolet lol. Bentley will likely try to do the same thing with that ghastly SUV of theirs as soon as this Roller is shown.

I have the feeling the Dawn is going to be one magnificent looking car. I can't wait to see it.
It might be even better looking than the Wraith. Only a few hours to go.

I think so too. I have read quite a few comments online by people who don't really love the fastback styling of the Wraith (it's taken me a while to appreciate too) but I think the convertible roof will likely outsell the hardtop model. I can't wait to see it either Carlton, not long now.

^ I agree, I would get the Dawn over the S-Class. Nothing (in the luxury car space) beats a Rolls for roll up and status.

Wow ....that is quite an endorsement coming from you M.

I have to say that as much as I like the Rolls .....an S65 Cabrio would be my choice.

Conundrum? Sure is for me, see the S-coupe is MB's finest in my eyes. Love the damn car so, so much! All that said a Roller is just in another class per sé, such presence and opulence the epitome of status.

Sure thing, good stuff indeed.
This guy is thorough.

(He did one on the S550 Coupe. I will post it in the S-Class section)

Rolls-Royce Wraith Series II (facelift) spied for the first time

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II (facelift) debuted at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and now it’s getting ready for a facelift.
Courtesy of IndianAutosBlog, we have the first spy photos of a Wraith prototype being tested in Germany.

The changes for the facelifted Rolls-Royce Wraith will be similar to the Ghost Series II. RR designers have re-drawn the LED headlights with surrounding LED daytime running lights, re-shaped the front and rear bumper, and created new wheel options for the high-end luxury coupe.

Additionally, Rolls-Royce may incorporate a few changes from the Wraith’s convertible version – Rolls-Royce Dawn – like the new suspension setup. Inside, we expect to see new wood veneers and trim options.

No power changes are expected, so the Wraith Facelift will use the same V12 engine married to an 8-speed automatic ZF transmission. 624 bhp / 465kW is available to the driver while the 0-60 mph sprint is achieved in 4.4 seconds, compared with 563 bhp / 420kW and 0-60 in 4.7 seconds for Ghost. From 1,500 rpm, 800 Nm of torque is available.

I could have written this article myself, pretty poor "journalism" from these guys again.

Uhm, I know it's a trend to hate on BMWblog, but come on, you're pushing it here. It's just an info piece, nothing offensive.
