Wraith [Official] Rolls-Royce Wraith

The Rolls-Royce Wraith is a full-size ultra-luxury car/grand tourer manufactured by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and based on the chassis of the Rolls-Royce Ghost sedan which is also shared with the Rolls-Royce Dawn convertible. The Wraith shares its nameplate with the 1938 model by the original Rolls-Royce company. The body style is a two-door pillar-less coupe with suicide doors, where all side windows can roll down like in a convertible. This body style was popular in American cars during the 1950s and 1960s, and was known as the hardtop body style, not used by Rolls-Royce since 1955.
It is absolutely magnificent.

Genuine question. Is there anything that the BMW Group produces that you don't think is "magnificent"?

If not then how can anybody be expected to place any gravitas on your opinions? Why should anybody take any notice of somebody who works for BMW marketing coming on here and posting that a BMW Group product is "magnificent", any more than Colonel Sanders coming on here and telling us that his chicken is "tasty"?

Pardon my ignore ignorance, reading all the pre-release press and impressions on here, what am I missing to make me not believe that this is just a Wraith convertible?

We see the basic body shape in the spy shots, same interior, Ghost II head lights, and slightly altered front bumper...

The Dawn will be much easier on the eyes than the Wraith imo.

Well I have been vocal here about certain designs I do not like especially the MINI cooper S "Double Chin" and the previous MINI clubman roof rails which made it look like an old horse carriage.
Design in competition is meant to appeal to a large group of evaluators and I find that they endeavour to adapt to criticism and continue to work to achieve perfection. If you take Rolls-Royce its the ultimate luxury brand and the brief states this. Every Rolls-Royce is a sign of magnificence. Since 2003 not one vehicle has failed the test to achieve something that signifies the most admired luxury brand in the world. I can honestly say that is true with the new Rolls-Royce Dawn.

I have been round long enough in this industry to see what works and what does not especially at BMW. What I like at BMW is there is a mindset to be individual from the competition, be more modern and embrace technology and innovation not only in engineering but also design.
Am I biased? Yes I would say so but I like the road we are on and the achievement is and will be evident in the end result.

Na... nothing in your post sounds convincing enough to be taken seriously or professionally for that matter, too subjective like most of your posts. Just fanboy talk with the same level of air as any other.

Sorry Scott. I never bitch about stuff around here. I had to vent that because your labeled as a contributing member.

Thanks for taking the time to reply and explain your stance.

Rolls-Royce Wraith Inspired by Music

Features a 1300W sound system
Rolls-Royce has revealed yet another unique Wraith model - the Wraith Inspired by Music.

The car “appeals to those looking to Rolls-Royce for unique and creative motor cars,” commented Torsten Müller Otvos, chief executive officer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

The British producer explains the construction of the Wraith Inspired by Music “blends the finest components” with “the skill of the most eminent experts in their field”. These characteristics and the “precious materials” used in the Bespoke Audio system are “brought very much to the fore”, creating “the most exclusive music venue”, also says the company.

The Wraith Inspired by Music comes finished in Lyrical Copper exterior paint. Inside the cabin notable are the “re-imagined” speaker grilles, presented in copper theme and engraved with the words ‘Bespoke Audio’. The door panniers and floor mats have been crafted from “finely-woven” leather, while there are also copper-colored door inserts.

According to Rolls-Royce, the 1300W, 18 channel Bespoke Audio system was created from scratch by a team of the world’s very best automotive audio engineers. It was developed in two years and the process saw the team work closely with Rolls-Royce interior designers. The system features two bass speakers, seven tweeters and seven mid-range speakers.

New Rolls-Royce Dawn's online reveal date set for September 8

Rolls-Royce will give the world an online preview of its Dawn convertible on Tuesday, September 8 at 2 pm London time. That’s exactly a full week ahead of the car’s world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The convertible variant of the Rolls-Royce Wraith breaks from the brand’s tradition of using the name Drophead Coupé for its cabriolet models. For this reason, some say the Dawn will be a little bit more than just an open-top version of the Wraith.

One thing is certain though: the Dawn will share the same engine and chassis with the Wraith coupe, which means it will be powered by the 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine producing 624hp (630PS).

The Rolls-Royce Dawn is expected to feature a folding canvas roof and to sport a new design for the rear end. Judging from the spy photos we’ve seen so far, the roof line is also different than the Wraith’s.

BMW is clearly looking to rain on the S-Class Cabriolet lol. Bentley will likely try to do the same thing with that ghastly SUV of theirs as soon as this Roller is shown.

This is an entirely different level.
