Wraith [Official] Rolls-Royce Wraith

The Rolls-Royce Wraith is a full-size ultra-luxury car/grand tourer manufactured by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and based on the chassis of the Rolls-Royce Ghost sedan which is also shared with the Rolls-Royce Dawn convertible. The Wraith shares its nameplate with the 1938 model by the original Rolls-Royce company. The body style is a two-door pillar-less coupe with suicide doors, where all side windows can roll down like in a convertible. This body style was popular in American cars during the 1950s and 1960s, and was known as the hardtop body style, not used by Rolls-Royce since 1955.
I don't think he's comparing the Wraith to the Z28, but merely providing context. He knows like we know that the Conti and the S-Coupe are the Wraith's nemesises (nemeses?). What I thought was lacking in his report was the sort of decadence the Wraith provides whereas he waxes poetic on Thermal's decadence a little too much. Lieberman seems to subscribe to Clarkson's writing style, which is not a good thing.

While I agree that there's a significant difference in price, for a decent amount of folks in that strata, the difference is not that significant and I imagine there's a good deal of cross-shop, especially between the Conti and Wraith.

LOL, I want to quote myself too....maybe when I finally say something meaningful in the future :D

D'OH! I meant to respond to SCOTT! Don't worry, I'll quote you.

Alright, Take Two...
The Continental GT is not what I would consider a rival to the Wraith when you take in the price.
The forthcoming Convertible is gorgeous.

I like this car a lot, but I think the convertible will be even better.

Oh Doc! This car does it for me, the stance, the way it sits on the road and it has huge presence. I love it when a member post new material of the Wraith, she's like a mistress I fancy to visit from time to time.

The Cabrio is coming very soon. Or should we say the Drop Head Coupe given its Rolls-Royce and we need to be proper and all. There is also going to be a V Specification Wraith.

This is more or less the finished result but we have already sold several models even before the launch. Customers know the Wraith very well that they have faith that we will deliver with the Drop Head Coupe.

Then a new Gentlemans Sports car the Wraith V Specification will appear with more dynamic orientated Overhaul and more power.
At the moment the car company are working on the next Phantom with two drive trains the SUV and "Spectre" a high end in intimate RR a 2 seater Roadster which will take Rolls-Royce to nearer million euro plus price before bespoke and personalisation.

Hmm, i'm not sure how much longer this Global economic bubble can last. China is an economic time bomb with staggering levels of debt. In the US, the effects of quantitative easing are yet to be fully felt and the massive Federal debt continues to grow. Much of Western Europe is virtually bankrupt ....even the Germans have some very tough times ahead while the dramatic drop in the price of oil is wrecking Russia's economy.

So Rolls-Royce had better make the most of it while good times last ......many millionaires are likely going to lose their fortunes in the next few years.

Rolls-Royce Wraith Drophead Coupe spied undergoing cold weather testing
Will be launched in mid-2016

Work continues on the Rolls-Royce Wraith Drophead Coupe as our spies have caught a heavily camouflaged prototype undergoing cold weather testing.

Set to go on sale in mid-2016, the car has a familiar design but adopts a retractable soft top and a slightly revised rear end.

While the pictures don't reveal much, Rolls-Royce has previously said the convertible will have "contemporary, graceful and sensuous styling." The automaker also stated the Wraith Drophead Coupe "will deliver effortless, open-top touring through the perfect marriage of modern Rolls-Royce luxury, style and elegance with an engaging and exhilarating driving experience."

Rolls-Royce has been coy on specifications but the model is expected to use a 6.6-liter V12 engine that produces 632 PS (624 bhp / 465 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. This enables the Wraith to accelerate 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, so expect the Wraith Drophead Coupe to be a few ticks slower.

Rolls-Royce Wraith Inspired by Fashion

Rolls-Royce has officially unveiled the Wraith Inspired by Fashion, following a preview earlier this week.

Described as an "extraordinary interpretation of Wraith’s characteristic blend of power, style and drama," the car has an Andalucian White and Arctic White exterior with a contrasting feature-line.

Moving on to the cabin, there's an Arctic White and Black interior with a two-tone steering wheel and embroidered headrests. The model also has silk lined door pockets, a unique clock and special wood trim. Last but not least, there's a starlight headliner and silk accents in the door panels.

Impressive, i thought this level of customization was for Phantom only.

this model is going to be a major sales bonanza for Rolls-Royce.

Just like Wraith has already been. Eg. in 2014 Wratih sales accounted for almost 50% of all Rolls-Royce global sales! It was like 1900+ Wraiths out of 4000+ all RRs. Impressive for a sports model, and a non-entry model.
