Of course there are benefits. Less shifting and more economy.
I think BMW has it on certain cars already. Not 100% sure.
I didn't know automatic gearboxes were only manually shifted.
The interior is underwhelming for me as far as the dash.
It's about the experience and the fine hand crafted detail. Here two 42" LED display sreens or inboard SONY games cosole in front of the driver is regarded as devils brew.You know.

BMW started talking about it last year and now the technology is finally making is debut in the RR. I wonder if this will make any noticeable difference in the driving experience, or another technical overkill.
