Wraith [Official] Rolls-Royce Wraith

The Rolls-Royce Wraith is a full-size ultra-luxury car/grand tourer manufactured by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and based on the chassis of the Rolls-Royce Ghost sedan which is also shared with the Rolls-Royce Dawn convertible. The Wraith shares its nameplate with the 1938 model by the original Rolls-Royce company. The body style is a two-door pillar-less coupe with suicide doors, where all side windows can roll down like in a convertible. This body style was popular in American cars during the 1950s and 1960s, and was known as the hardtop body style, not used by Rolls-Royce since 1955.
Well whatever they do, don't release the car in Jakarta right now:

You can get a bit more but not much. They briefly show the whole side view if you swipe fast enough :D (and it's pretty stunning I might add)

Good God! What happened there?

Some poor soul creating a Premium Bath Tub :D Here's more:

This is a render but it conforms to how low the car actually looks. Its a bit more compact as well compared to this elongated render based on an actual Ghost sedan. It is new to the modern generation but go back and you can see this is faithful re-interpretation of classic Rolls-Royce design.

^ So where is the 'controversial' part? Not on the side? The front/rear? Or is the roofline the controversial part?

I would say the roofline is very Classic English design. Typical of RR but of course look at Aston Martins and indeed Bentleys and Jaguars of that era to see the same design element of a lower dynamic roof which leads into the rear of the car. for some that think Coupe this could be interpreted as controversial. It is sexy and very fast for a RR. It certainly has that Riva speedboat classic look to it , more so than the Phantom.

It can fly.......

Hmm, gonna have to let that greenhouse and roofline marinate for a second. Not sure how I feel about it.

Yep, quite dramatic C-pillar & green-house for the Rolls-Royce, IMHO.

The Rolls Royce 5er GT :D

In some remote way, perhaps ... There is a hint of a fastback there, yes ... And IMO that's the design feature that will cause controversy ... I'm 99.1% sure, but still not 100% :D

Come on Eni don't be silly and tell us what you have heard (and probably not have seen?) :)

Edit;

Oh I assume you mean the shape of the roof is the controversy?
I'm ok with that :D there's nothing wrong with the shape of the roof actually. It typically old-English and it reminds me of cars like the Aston DB5...

I told you what I had been told ... It was just a mysterious hint, what I'd been given.

All I can do now is guess (what it means), just like anybody else.

To me ... from what I've seen so far ... nothing is really controversial. Radical for contemporary RR - yes (the true coupe silhouette) but hardly controversial. Causing a buzz? Probably ... just like every new RR model. ;)

They have also in preliminary conception created a four door WRAITH aswell due to the demand of more flexible options for high end luxury models. The cabrio or Drophead Coupe is also a stunning car. The next Phantom is also looking fantastic some of the ideas are really taking the Phantom look into the next decade it won't just be a bigger GHOST. After Ghost, Wraith and Phantom ,One such RR model under discussion is an " intimate" RR concept - A Roadster/Coupe for two - Think Ferrari California type concept with a folding hardtop due to growing demand for ultra-luxury brands.
