Nope. Last year's Mulsanne sales figure proved it's a dead product, even with the bling facelift. Pains me to say it as a Mulsanne fan.
That for one, and even purely from a luxury standpoint, Mulsanne cannot hold a candle to the Phantom VIII

Also in Europe it seems only 173 Mulsanne's have been sold last year
It's not surprising. The Mulsanne is very old-school Rolls-Royce/Bentley - it has a lot of the same gentlemanly feel of Bentleys from 30 years ago. The world has changed, the market for high-end luxury cars is younger and there are so many alternatives now.

The Phantom impresses with its high-style and bold overstatement, it is a celebration of conspicuous consumption. The Mulsanne appeals to generally more reserved, and perhaps more sophisticated, tastes.

I think the Mulsanne's replacement will be quite different and much more modern. The Mulsanne feels like an anachronism - and its days are probably numbered.

*Braces for dislikes.. Los Angeles folks just couldn’t wait to get their hands on the Phantom. How to a $600k car look cheap and tasteless.

Unfortunately, lots of RR owners add big chrome rims and flamboyant wraps - comprising the years of engineering effort by RR.

Is this the same car that was in O'Gara Westlake? Didn't know the car is for sale atm, thought it was just a factory demo car.

It might be, but all the Phantom demos have same spec. Nowadays, it's hard to tell if it's a factory demo or launch edition because some dealers will just sell it to whoever pays the most over sticker.

I wonder if we will ever see pictures of a really personnalized gallery or are the super richs definitively too shy for that.
