Ghost [Official] Rolls-Royce Ghost (2021-)

Rolls-Royce Ghost forum covering all generations of the modern luxury sedan. Discuss new models, design, future developments, spy shots, industry news, technology, specifications, ownership experiences, and Rolls-Royce heritage.
I see where you're getting at. It's not my favorite detail as well as the shape is too similar to Gen1. I'd keep the internal graphics/details but give it a slightly slimmer profile.

Yes exactly. A slimmer profile would have done wonders for the tail lights.

No doubt it is an improvement, but I don't like the design overall, the best angle is the front.

The previous generation will have the Rolls Royce heritage identity, timeless with luxury feeling, the new model design just made me feel something is missing.

I will need to see the real car, maybe photo does not do the justice to the beauty of this car.

Mercedes fanboys and fans girls don't like it ....what a shocker, but they'll gush over an S class that will look like exactly like an E and C and say it's revolutionary. Ridiculous.

its Rolls Royce which mean it won't be attainable to most mere mortals and it will have a road presence only other Rolls Royce can beat not Bentley and certainly not that other brand that doesn't deserve a mention in the same breath as these two.

What a shocker, BMW fan comes into BMW-related thread and makes broad comments that largely mischaracterize any type of criticism shared. See how little value these comments add? You didn't even add your own comment on the car, just starting blabbing about Rolls-Royce's [obvious] market positioning. And really, I didn't see anyone doubting this car is going to have massive road presence.

I think people are allowed to comment on the styling of the car and how much of an impression the Flying Spur has made on them in comparison. There's plenty of positive talk in here too. Relax and join the fun.

BMW fan boy comes to say a bunch of nothing and doesn't even have a car, much less a BMW, but he's here to tell us that we can't afford a Rolls. DELUSIONAL and a complete JOKE.

It's a happy day folks - new Ghost and new S-Class back to back. Please be nice to each other. Both camps have made their points - now let's get back to the cars.

Lol it’s bo

Calm down, it’s not our fault the new $330k Ghost looks inspired by a Camaro:

I get that they really want to emphasize the Ghost's "ethereal" nature, but introducing a car in white in front of an all white background is bloody annoying.

but introducing a car in white in front of an all white background is bloody annoying.

There are so few cars that white suits, and this isn't one of them!

___________

Looking at it, my biggest issue is the slight upward curve of the headlights in conjunction with the abrupt depth and the contouring around them. With the glare from the DLR's in some photo's this appears to be far less noticeable.

It also looks better 'balanced' with a two tone option, and black and silver seems to work so well on Rolls-Royces...

People who never participated in the threads allusive to this car, suddenly come to offend the enthusiasts of other brands, it should not be like that. The Ghost is an excellent car and the W223, too, is. Both are magnificent.

Because there are great competitors, every favorite brand strives to do their best.

Regards.

No more profile pictures? (I don't think I saw any) and in other colors, they are very few and it is rare

Is it really though? Looks a lot similar to me. Funny how when the shoe is on the other foot, it’s suddenly painful and annoying.
Painful and annoying? I'm merely stating that the cars look nothing alike. Every car out on the road must look the same to you. This is made even more ironic by the fact that you're raving about the S class on the other thread, a car that looks like a copy of the E Class with bits of the A class.
